HOLOCENE MOTOR GROUP

I initially took the car in for a power steering pipe repair - of course they added extra jobs bringing to cost up to £500. (Bearing in mind I have my car serviced regularly from a trustworthy garage) 2 weeks after my first repair with Holocene, my car broke down on a motorway. An AA mechanic checked it over and wrote a report stating the water pump needed replacing. I took it to them to do, and they tell me I also need a thermostat housing and fan replacement, costing over £1,118!!! I asked for only the water pump to be done, and when I picked it up, I was warned not to drive too far!
I got home and looked under the bonnet, and they had cut the hose pipe! I have reported this to the police, and am taking it further!

I have been using Holocene Motor Group for 4 years now and consistently they've provided a excellent service. As a female customer using a male dominant profession I've always felt welcomed by the team, the staff are polite but also professional in their manner and attitude. The environment is always clean and friendly. Lastly, and most importantly the work carried out is always done effectively and efficiently. I am a very happy customer and will guarantee when you use this family business that's been running for over 40 years, you'll be as well.

I have used this garage previously on a couple of occasions and have always found the service to be excellent and quick but expensive.

One thing I would note is that for my last MOT here I was given advisories on the break disks/ pads & tyre wear. The pads and the tyre were all less than 3000 miles old so this was surprising. Since then my vehicle has been through another MOT and did not receive any of these advisories, in fact all tyres had 4x the required minimum tread for an MOT which was shown to me on the print out I received.

I took the car there do get an estimate to have an oil leak repaired and tyres replaced . I was never informed that I would be charged for this .As the cost were so high I decided not to have any repairs done but then was asked to pay £90 otherwise my keyes would not be returned to me .I think this is not acceptable and I should be informed at any stage if there were any costs involved .Most garages provide a cost estimate for free .

First time I’ve used Holocene and it was a totally seamless and easy exp. Had an MOT and Service with no trouble at all they even hovered the inside! Much MUCH cheaper then Mercedes. All very pro would defo recommend

I fully recommend Holocene where I have now gone on two occasions: once for something minor and again for something much more major - a leaking water pump and loss of antifreeze requiring diagnostics and repair. Their communication and service are excellent. They kept me in the picture with the diagnostics, were realistic on the timing of the repair and turned my car around within 36 hours at a time when I was back to back with meetings requiring my car and therefore juggling around meetings to fit in with the repair. Excellent, reliable and well priced.

I needed help with welding a piece urgently and they did for me so quickly! Super friendly and helpful team!! Absolute amazing

Excellent, very helpful and efficient. I really like this place, it is always busy, which is only a good thing. They are also good value which is a bonus....
