Terrible customer service. Never a straight answer. Parts not fitted to car that should have been. Poor diagnostics. Bodged repairs to hide more major faults

Complete rip off. Quoted me £150 for repairs that didnt even need to be done. Took car else where works carried out for free. Wasnt interested in building customer relations just wanted money. My advice? Go else where unless ya want ripping off.

Just seen the response from owner so thought I would clarify. The car failed on the windscreen washers not working and advised a new pump was needed and a light bulb was out. I took the car to my local garage (who doesn't do MOT's) who advised the reason the washers didn't work was down to a fuse. He fitted a new fuse and a new bulb for FREE. I was willing to pay but seeing as these were minor items they didn't charge. So went and got the lads some cans as a thank you! At no point did I ask you for anything free I simply advised I would take the car to my local garage. Took the car back for the retest and it passed. So word of warning becareful! Trying to charge £150 for a new pump when it was just a fuse is a rip off!!! I would advise anyone to go else where. Alarm bells should of rang when I was charged £50 for a MOT in the 1st place.

I cannot understand how you can justify this. I never wanted anything doing for FREE I will always pay it was the fact of the matter that you were trying to charge me for work that didn't need carrying out!

On returning I explained what the other garage said and your response was well we didn't actually look at that we just assumed. So quoting £150 for an assumption is technical a rip off.

I always give honest reviews and sometimes unfortunately these have to be bad I thought response from Dave says it all really.

Please tell me Dave what is not true? Reading other reviews simply backs up my "lies" try not ripping people off and try speaking to your customers with a better attitude and you might find your self receiving more positive reviews.

How you can me a liar is laughable we both know what happened you are just annoyed you got caught out! I will be advising my friends and family to stay clear! Word of mouth and all that!

We would like to say a massive Thankyou to Dave Wood and team for letting Jacob do his work experience with you , he has thoroughly enjoyed it and learnt so much from you all . We are so grateful that you gave Jacob this opportunity and spent time and effort with him in such a busy workplace .

Fantastic service and very knowledgeable. Was able to diagnose a complex problem quickly and completed all the works in good time. Will definitely be returning.

Had my motorbike mot d here,very good customer service at a very fair price, definitely be returning next year.

I took my van down for an inspection & temporary repair on my exhaust, Dave said I needed a back box but it was unlikely to arrive today so I made arrangements to take my van elsewhere as I needed it the following day. He charged me £24 for doing nothing & refused to give me an invoice, he kept hold of my van keys in his pocket until I paid & gave me a load of abuse on leaving.
In the 30 years of owning many cars & using many many garages this is the worst garage I have ever been to ... please DO NOT USE THIS GARAGE !!!
I will be reporting him to Trading Standards

Dave's great always does a grand job and his lovely dogs come for a fuss whilst you're waiting 🥰
