Fantastic customer service when asking if the BT3 unit it compatible with my stereo, very responsive! The unit works great and was incredibly easy to install. Sound quality is perfect, connects to my phone immediately on ignition. Brilliant little thing I love it, forget Bluetooth to FM transmitters or aftermarket stereos get one of these!!

Carputer-shop / GROM audio UK. Product was first class, plug and play, easy to fit following instructions & YouTube videos.
Was Bluetooth for a Volvo S60 2005.

Ordered a Grom USB3 for my Volvo V70 and received it within a couple of days. I wanted it for mp3 playback and wasn't bothered about Bluetooth phone connection. I didnt remove the head unit instead i connected it into the rear of the car via the rti unit.Very easy to fit as it comes with vehicle specific cables. I followed the instructions for the folder structure on the mp3 drive and it worked straight away. The steering wheel controls and reversing sensors all work as they should as well. Sound quality is excellent and i have 40 albums in mp3 format @ 320kbs on a 8gb drive. Its early days but so far i am very pleased.

Hi, although very responsive and customer service was good.. the product is absolutely no good. Provided all the required information for my vehicle and then had 2 units sent and professionally installed and paid for and neither unit worked correctly. No refund for either installation or return postage and wasted 2 afternoons. Wouldn’t recommend these guys at all.

I've had great customer service one two separate occasions when selecting a Grom BT3 unit for two of my cars. In both cases, I got a quick response regarding vehicle compatibility which was extremely helpful. One of the vehicles is a grey import from Japan so compatibility was not 100% known. After checking and feeling reasonably confident that compatibility wouldn't be a problem, Grom offered to refund me in the event that the unit didnt work. But it works perfectly. I recommend this company and their products.

2 devices and happy with both - still going strong (Lexus RX in 2015 and Subaru Forester in 2020)

I have just bought my 2nd device (bluetooth pairing with phone calls/mic) for my Subaru Forester. Took a couple of attempts to pair, but now sticks every time. I also ordered the 3mm jack and phone charger/connector which covers all bases.
Delivery was fast.
Fitting was really easy. Mic was a bit awkward to hide, but got there in the end :-) but that was to be expected. Call quality is excellent according to unwitting "guinea pigs" I called to test it out :-)
I already had trust in GROM devices after fitting one to my Lexus RX in 2015 (non-bluetooth), which is still going strong. Team were helpful as I was on a 2003 facelift plate and they contacted me before dispatching to clarify if I'd ordered the right connecting cable for my year/stereo (which I had) but it was good to know they were conscientious and thorough.
I generally don't use the app as everything seems to work without it: Google Maps, Spotify, general streaming, iPod devices, etc
Would happily buy another.

SCAM - Despite advertising support for Android, it does not. Steer clear. MST4 does not work.
Please avoid. - If you've got an Android phone, do not listen to their attempts to tell you this device is supported. It is certifiably not.
They have lied on their site saying they have an app on the Google Play store, but they do not. Do not install the APKs they will send you. Could be malicious, and the application will not work, and may steal your credentials when asking you to log into apps. (Such as Spotify, which does not log in)

Their customer support is non-existant, calls and emails asking them to confirm it's support was met with lies, then they further lied after I installed the unit to say that it actually only supports Bluetooth streaming (VERY LOW SBC QUALITY).
They have stated there's no plans to support existing and new Android users, and they will not respond to emails requesting for a return label or let me return it to their store in person...

Do not spend money configuring your car to get this to work, if you have Android, they will be happy to take your money, then tell you you're at fault for owning one.

I have call recordings, emails, screenshots of their website, and "wayback" archives that show their site continuing to advertise USB audio, when it does in fact NOT work. They will not be supporting this device, but are happy to continue selling and purchasing more stock.
Worked as a developer and electronics engineer for 15 years, asked if they could provide me information on the device to see if I could personally get it to work, they would prefer to not help at all.

They never pick up their phones, they never responded to my emails, and they falsely advertised features they knew full well was not supported when I spoke to them.

Thanks Richard, £400 in total on the device, and a car config change to disable the MOST security system to make it work for absolutely NOTHING.

Just buy a decent quality LDAC or APTX bluetooth adaptor for less than £50 and use your existing AUX with it. It's not the best, but I'm sorry, they do not care either way. This is just a glorified £320 bluetooth adaptor. You can simply buy a harness to add decent Aux quality if you have an "Aux" feature, and you can bypass the bluetooth if you only have that and add Aux much cheaper and tidier than this unit.

It may have supported Android years ago, but this seems like a Bait & Switch scam...

Tried many different phones of varying models, manufacturers, and versions of Android. Please do your research, you'll see they've abandoned all their existing MST4 customers.

No USB audio support, no bluetooth steering wheel controls if using aux instead, no hands free if paired and using aux, no further firmware or app updates, no app on the playstore, dodgy APK downloads, no spotify support, and no support whatsoever on calls, emails or in person. - All certified and justified by Richard @ Grom Audio

I recently purchased a GROM BT3 for my 2002 E.46 BMW 335ci. I installed it this morning and it's brilliant! It was dead easy to fit - the most difficult part was removing the internal trim to get to the wiring loom but once I had done that it took two minutes to connect the BT3 and I was up a running! Thanks for an excellent product and the pre-sale advice
