Reply to Simon Smith,
The system you required didn't not involve a sound tec as, according to our records, you did not ask or pay for a full night sound operator.
The job we were paid for was a simple set up which includes: sound testing to make sure equipment is in working order, sound levels are left to the hire person, as we did explain, roughly when hired, the system was left by me, set up and in working order but needed fine tuning by an operator which I explained and showed them how it was to be done and how to work the desk.
Sorry for any inconvenience, but we were on the end of the phone if you had problems and we could have talked you through it and helped you.

Many thanks,
Kays Electronics

We recently held our wedding at the nearby Ringwood Hall venue, and hired speakers for our disco from Kays (we hired 2x speakers for use in the Ringwood suite - for c.100 guests - and these provided a good volume).

Whilst their website initially appeared quite basic, on calling them they were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Kays provided us with all the required PAT documentation for the hire and the equipment all came packed in easy-to-carry cases; the speakers were easy to set up and could be used 'plug and play' with our iPod / iPhone / Laptop for the music as Kays provided all the required cabling.

Finally, their location was so convenient for our venue and the price was extremely reasonable - all-in-all an excellent service, thank you guys very much!!

Brought a jvc stereo in for repair advised nothing could be done due to lockdown which I agreed rang them back a few days later to ask for my stereo back and they wouldnt give it me they said it was at the shop and I would have to wait. I waited until when was said and now they told me I have to wait another 3 days they have also said they are charging me 32 pound for not carrying out any work due to the fact they are not earning due to lockdown they said I broke the contract terms asking for the device back before they carried out any work.

I took father in-laws, who has passed away, Trio 930s to be serviced. I was told the price was £850 because of repairs they have done but the transceiver wasn't faulty. I contacted Trading Standards who contacted Bob the owner and I was later contacted with a £43 bill stating repairs are not finished...

I have collected the Trio 930s and it is now badly damaged. When I collected the Transceiver the man who claimed to be the person who serviced it said he isn't an engineer trained or qualified to fix electronics. He said he sent it to Bobs home so Bob could test it at his house where he has antennas for Ham radios.

It is now damaged yet the repair man claimed he fixed it...

I wouldn't recommend anyone take any electronic to be repaired. I have been charged for pandemic holding of the device, I have also had my first review here removed and I have notice a few have been removed.

I have documentation, I have phone text from Bob who stated the repair charge is £850 ect

If the transceiver was repaired as he claimed and when you collect it it's badly damaged you only have your own mind to understand what's happened.

It's going to a engineer Ham radio repair company and I'm taking this further because of what has happened when all we required was a service.

Had a Pioneer Double din fitted today, can't fault the work even if my car was more difficult as it had a built in radio, wasn't a problem for Craig, all panels back where they should be. Just need some more stuff putting in for better sound. So more work to be carried out at a later date.

Couldn't be easier. Hired a package for my wedding and the speakers worked great. Kay was also incredibly polite and helpful on pick up and drop off. Thank you

I struggled to find anyone who could replace a broken mains input socket on a Pure Evoke 2xt radio - until I contacted Kay Electronics. They made an excellent job of it and charged a reasonable price, so I'm really pleased
