A22 Hand Car Wash

Disappointing. I used to love this place and recommended them to friends. However the last two times I've been they seem to make the prices up as they go along and each time it's different. I have a prestige car, and the pricing they have on the wall says "£15" for prestige cars. I go to pay and they try to charge me £20. I ask them why, and they said because I asked them to use my own soap which I provided along with a couple of buckets (I take pride in my car and since having it wrapped in a matte-finish), I was advised not to use any heavy chemicals which most car washes use. I have absolutely no problem paying the extra for great service or tipping where appropriate but if anything the price should be the same as I provided the materials. The labour is exactly the same - so where does the extra cost come from? They make it up as they go along based on what they think they can get away with and by the looks of some of these reviews, there's a few people who have had the same experience. Shame. Won't be using them again.

Absolutely brilliant! My car was a disgrace (my wife’s fault) and they made it new again. Friendly, hard working, quick and amazing results. I will be back… and I promise not to bring the car in quite so dirty. Sorry.

Excellent place to get the car washed, the price is fine and they always charge the price shown for each type of vehicle. I would recommend them without hesitation as they are courteous and caring in the way they treat you. Highly recommended

Twice I have taken my car there and both times they charged me more than advertised. My car was no dirtier than the average car which they claimed was the reason. If you go there only get the outside of your car washed or they will try and rip you off.

First time using this car wash. Staff seemed friendly, and they did a pretty good job. You can use contact less payment if needed.
