IMO Car Wash

Poor effort.. windscreen still dirty..I will be going back to the hand wash places....note edited after I went outside to have a look....much worse...waste of money...

The operator tried to scam us and said the voucher was expired but it's not. After a triple foam wash, the car is still dirty and bird poo is still on the windscreen.

It solely relies on the guy using the high pressure jet to wash the car. As we challenged the operator, he didn't use the jet wash properly.

Definitely goes back to Stapleford to wash our car next time.

Paid for the £6 version. Car still covered in dead flies and bird poo. Even the budget washes should still do the fundamentals. Had better experience in Burton.

The car wash is good, nice finish and not too expensive.
The wheel clean isn't great unless you pay for detailing.
The valet service is incredibly slow.
I was told an hour, over an hour and a half later they hadn't even STARTED the valet!
Total time 2½ hours. Wouldn't have been so bad if they'd have said up front and I could have made other plans.
The quality of the valet was OK but really not great given the time. Best bet would be to do it properly and take the car for a proper valet.

The attendant tried to charge me £35 for a £15 mini valet… and then got in my face when I challenged it with his manager! Who was the one doing the valets! Threatening to assault me cos I said I was going to call the head office. Nearly had to call the police!!! Horrendous experience with absolute clowns as staff. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! This place make up prices on the day, say it’s from that price (which makes no sense cos if something is from, it means there’s an option at the price it’s from - to go from 15 to 35 for all the same things being done, is more than double and quite frankly an attempt to con me!!!!) BEWARE

Working in Derby, had some time to spare so decided to use this car wash. Found it to be £1 more expensive than my local in Birmingham. However, despite the premium price, I have been twice turned away twice in two days due to maintenance being carried out, the second time the sign said it would be open at 1.30 thinking I was in luck I arrived bang on 1.30. After a few minutes a guy came out gesturing that it was not working and randomly moved the hands on another hour or so. So I've driven from the city to spondon and back twice thats 2 litres of petrol and paid £13 for nothing.

Poor wash, left a gluey residue on my car which was not there before. Streak marks left on bodywork. Paid extra for a more premium wash and still received poor results. Staff were insistent on wanting cash and pulled a face when I only had card.

Very good car wash, Had a mini valet was really good and happy with the price.
