I don’t even want to give 1 star. I wanted to get my moped cleaned there so I asked them how much and they said £10 and I was like that’s too expensive can you do it for a fiver so the man wen’t to speak to the boss was waiting about for 5 mins or longer to get a awnser and that awnser was a no so was waiting all that time for nothing. They wasted my time and they are tight. It’s not worth £10 to get cleaned. They where not that polite either and they all kept staring at me and made me felt uncomfortable since I am disabled. I don’t recommend taking motobikes or mopeds there as they will charge you a ridiculous price. Avoid.

I’ve had our Zafira Vauxhall for over a year, hauling around two kids and a dog and never had it cleaned but it’s looking brand new after a trip to Rushden Hand Car Wash. They took great care to clean every nook and cranny with great customer service.

All ways busy, they increase the price again and loosing attention to detail. They are trying to rush and end up doing a poor job.

A very thorough, well organised car wash. I was impressed by the nooks and crannies having particular attention. It makes a lot of difference to the finished product. Easy to get to, just follow the instructions of the guys. Give it a try.

Was back here first thing this morning for an exterior wash and an interior clean - excellent service as usual. The inside was dusted with a paintbrush and fully cleaned and vacuumed, they even tried to spruce up a rusty looking wheel with a missing hub. I'm not sure if there has been a change to taking things out for cleaning because I always gather loose things up beforehand and stick them in a bag, but I've been having my car cleaned here for years and have never had a problem. It's now very clean and smells nice. No additional scratches on the paintwork. Friendly team.

I have used Rushden Hand Car Wash for many years, from when my car was new. Originally they were very thorough and reasonably priced. The car would always end up with what I'd call a showroom finish. The staff were very thorough and took good care of my car. I would trust them to complete the clean and interior valet and then park my car for my return. Over the years the price has crept up, faster than inflation, but I took it, as the quality was good and, even if they had "missed a bit", they would soon sort it out. However, I had the full treatment once lockdown ended and was disappointed on completion. Nothing was quite as clean and shining as you'd expect. The sills were still dirty and the boot had not been cleaned. When I pointed this out, I was told that was as good as I'd get. They no longer take anything out of the car to clean and there was no point in complaining. I asked for a reduction (the price has gone up again) and I was told, in no uncertain terms, that was not going to happen! I pointed out that in the past they had always done such a good job and I was told that they no longer wanted customers who complained. So when I got home, I inspected the car more thoroughly in order to write this post. The carpets were not well vacuumed and the dash and leather seats were not cleaned properly. There was still debris in the seams and scuff marks in places, which in the past, would have been dealt with. All this is a great pity. I used to recommend Rushden Hand Car Wash to everyone. Now its no better than any other in the area and not value for money. In fact, I've found that it is worse. So be warned. It is run by a very rude individual who now doesn't seem to care about his customers, as long as the cash is rolling in. I have been told that he doesn't even pay that well - either to his staff or the Inland Revenue. Who knows, he might have been having a bad day, but the stories you now hear make you wonder what he's up to.
