Family Hand Car Wash & Valet Centre

Ok update!! Been here twice since this initial review, 3 times altogether.
I wouldn't recommend!! Twice I've come away from there with issues. My car is old admittedly, it's 16/17 years old, but I got a feeling their jet wash is to powerful for a car wash.

1st time I noticed an issue a strip around my window and been peeled off during the wash, and the 2nd time i noticed the paint/clear coat was destroyed during the wash.
Both times I literally drove from the car wash to my home and spotted it.

The first time I noticed an issue I didn't think anything of it because it could have been a bad timing thing, but for me to have another issue after leaving there a second time I'm putting it down to them not knowing what they are doing.

They didn't even have the decency to tell me there was an issue with the paint or window strip.
I want be going there ever again, and I'd recommend everyone stay away from there.

AVOID at all costs. Regretfully used this car wash today, which took the clear coat off the bumper of my car. It’s not even an old car, which makes it even less excusable.The jet wash is far too powerful for car paintwork. Worker was also smoking a cigarette whilst conducting work, which added to the unprofessionalism even more. Went back to resolve issue but suffered a load of abuse from the two workers. Do Not Use this unprofessional service, they will ruin your car.

Update to this review; the cost of the damage caused by this horrendous “hand car wash”, to my car, was £180. Avoid at all costs, if you want to avoid paying for the most expensive car wash you will ever have!!!

Car was cleaned beautifully. The man who cleaned my car was very polite and courteous. Excellent price of £15 for mini valet.

Great job. Car was cleaned inside and out to showroom quality for a fee of £40, which was good value in my opinion. Other car wash options are available too though.

Shocking service. I took my Civic to have a full in and out valet and the car was completed with a smashed windscreen. Obviously the wipers which are spring loaded had been flipped to polish the glass and then simply dropped back into the screen, hence cracking the screen costing me a £169 Autoglass replacement. Won’t be using these guys again.
