Visited on the 25th March for an early Mother’s Day Meal and had such a pleasant experience that both my mum and myself enjoyed throughly. We were served by Angela who was very polite, helpful and had a great sense of humour. I will definitely return because the BBQ Beef Rib was soo good, the Jerk wings and cocktails were also really tasty.

The chicken was not cooked, we even had second plates given which was a nice replacement. However, even in the second round, the chicken was pink. The chef was quite angry when coming out and said that the chicken was cooked. We ordered Jerk Chicken for £11.95 offer and said it is due to the marination process. I have eaten jerk chicken my whole life and marination does not cause it. I could only eat the rice and peas, as well as plantain which was nice. Overall, I am not happy, even when the chef came out, he did not speak nicely and was not welcoming. The waitresses were nice and listened to our requests. Overall, I will not be coming to this restaurant again. 4 plates of £11.95 jerk, rice and peas and plantain gave, with the second plates also pink. One plate had chicken which was red, and you can see veins. Was not pleasing given this was my first time here. i did ask if the price could be reduced due to this, but it was refused and so had to pay full price.

The restaurant reviews looked good, and that is what caught my eyes to come. My experience overall is negative and would not recommend.

Beautiful meal with 1/4 jerk chicken side of rice & peas & delicious coleslaw (my choices). Cocktail to begin was great, sparkling water was given with glass, ice & lemon.
Things got really busy like about 6 lots of people wanted to dine after 830pm all coming in at once plus takeaways coming & going & tables seated. Will definitely return as both ladies lovely & got big smiles from the chef.

Amazing food. The service was great as well. They helped with understanding food allergens (they have available an allergens sheet that covers the main dishes). It can take a while for the food to come, but it was worth the wait.

Happened upon this lovely spot by chance, originally came in for drinks but the service was so friendly and inviting we stayed for dinner and were so glad we did! The sorrel drink is amazing IMO!
We had the jerk chicken and lamb chops, great portion sizes and topped it off with pineapple upside down cake made by the wife’s owner. Was really pleased to hear the staff are well looked after too. Perfect spot to have a pleasant meal and a good chat with a friend without loud music or tables on top of each other. Already looking forward to when we can go back :)

First time eating in at this great independent Caribbean restaurant as part of their regular rum club. Skylark Spirits showcased 5 very different rums from around the world with food and ambience ably supplied by Delroy and team. Great evening, great crowd and recommended to anyone looking for a different activity. Looking forward to returning in 2023!

One of my fave place for jerk chicken and salt fish fritters. I was hesitant to try the Mac and cheese as I’ve had other Mac and cheese that haven’t been so good but this one is the best I’ve tasted. Rice and peas were yum and the jerk gravy sauce was perfect! Salt fish fritters are a must try. My friend got the chana vegan curry which she loved!

I have now tried the goat curry for the first time which so flavourful! Their portions are quite big, I had some left over for tomorrow’s lunch.

What a hidden gem in Walthamstow. Came here with my family for a Sunday meal. Had such lovely attentive service from our host. She welcomed and us and was warm with her demeanor.
The food was DELICIOUS and authentic. We thanked the Chef and will be back again. Most likely for the bottomless Sunday brunch.
I adored the rum punch and will recommend to all
