I am an interior designer. Fleet Fineweave have carpeted dozens of my clients apartments. Fleet fineweave’s work is always very well done and left perfectly tidy. The staff are courteous and do all they can to help bring my projects to a successful completion.

I have been very let down by this company & feel strongly to warn others to avoid, avoid, avoid!

This is the first bad google review I have left for a company.

We had a Home survey last October whereby their surveyor viewed the room, measured up etc & we agreed to use them. A £2000 deposit was paid for Amtico flooring. They visited again to measure up the hallway. The job was delayed until the new year which was down to us but they obliged as they were busy.

Several days before they were due to come and fit the floor they did another home visit in preparation.

Thursday 3/5/18 they arrived late & within 10mins had left saying they can’t fit the floor as our concrete is not suitable, the same concrete that has been there for the past 30yrs & viewed by their surveyor in each visit.

We had emptied out the lounge & thrown away the carpet from the lounge & hallway in readiness, only now we still have no flooring & no one available to do it. We have a young toddler & I am due to have our second child in 6 weeks & we are living in essentially a building site.

They also in their 10mins drilled great big holes in our floor and have left them.

We had also paid £750 to have new skirting board put in which we did in advance as this is what is recommended with Amtico and now this has to be removed at our loss.

They also tried to retain some of our £2000 deposit until I told them the credit card company wld act on our behalf.

I am half a mind to report them to Trading Standards & persue them for damages & costs incurred.

Certainly from my experience I wld recommend you look elsewhere for a flooring company.

I want to thank all at Fineweave Carpets for great service and fitting, hassle free and in quick time. They couldn’t have helped me more at this difficult period in time for me.

Really happy with the way everything was done by these guys; good prices and good fitting on the day we’d agreed.
