Took my neighbour here for a mooch, Staff very friendly most prices include underlay and fitting no hidden extras. They were really helpful with my neighbour she has dementia so can be abit random with conversations at times and excited to get new kitchen flooring and the guy was chatty with her and even gave her a square of some carpet she liked so she could decide if it went with her hallway too. Prices are reasonable and they fit you in at a date n time that suits you. Great place

Anyone looking to use this company, I'd stay well clear. On Monday 19th December 2022 between approximately 19:30-20:00L, one of their drivers was spotted comitting a driving offence, speeding approx 50-60mph in a 20mph zone on Holly Road / Red Marsh Drive, FY5. The van was a long wheelbase vehicle, possibly a LV with Bernie Atherton Carpets Ltd livery stickered all over it.

Very happy with service and the quality of vynl he kindly delivered it on same day to. I will continue to use these now as my nan always highly recommend Bernie as he always carpets etc my nans. Must be his son i dealt with today. Amazing😊

We have just had some of our carpets replaced, and some laminate flooring installed. We are very happy with the end results; all have been fitted professionally at a very reasonable price.

Just had two bedroom carpets fitted this morning and what an amazing job done. Very friendly and professional fitter who obviously takes pride in his work. A really lovely job done .... so pleased with the finished look of the rooms. I would always happily recommend Bernie Atherton carpets from start to finish. Really helpful staff when choosing who are never pushy but will advise if needed.

Fantastic service, fantastic quality and fitting! Kept the shop open for an extra 10 minutes after closing, even when England were about to play Germany! With national supply chain problems after Covid/ Brexit, etc., this company went out of their way to source what a wanted at a very competitive price. The fitter was A class and did a perfect job, credit to the company. Won't hesitate to go anywhere else from now on. You can see why they've been in business for 60 years plus!
