Toby Carvery Lincoln

Service from staff was fantastic. Very polite and helpful. Food was cold and very dry even though was enjoyable once added gravy. Ladies toilets were not very clean and the floor was so sticky I had to pull my foot off the floor. Actually felt like a dirty nightclub toilet.

Our Visit was 10/10, really Gold Service from start to finish. Friendly Hosting and Table Service, Glass of water inc. Lemon and Ice, Food was piping hot, great variety, Atmosphere was joyful and pleasant. Staff very attentive and minimal waiting times. In fact. Que at Servery was very fast and efficient. Absolutely nothing but big a Thumbs Up. I just wish there was more of these 50% Off. 100% Recommended. Thanks to all for our Fantastic Afternoon. David and Sally.

Our server Harry was amazing, he really did go above and beyond the expectations of what you would have expected to receive, at such a busy time. He really made going to Toby Carvery a lovely place to be. The food was also so lovely, we definitely got too much. The only server that was incredibly rude and could not be bothered to deal with customers at all was Maxton, me and my boyfriend couldn’t believe how rude they were when they delivered our drinks and we asked a question and also when we were paying the bill. Despite that, it was overall a great experience and would definitely come back for the food.

It was our first return visit to the Lincoln Carvery since the pandemic.
We absolutely loved it!
Both the front of house along with the chefs were all warm, friendly & inviting.
Harry especially made us feel valued as customers.
As for the food….
WE WILL BE BACK!!!!!!!

Overall, I do enjoy it here. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I always ask for a booth due to my medical needs, and most of the time, this is considered if they have the space to do so. The food is delicious and well presented. My only grumble would be on one occasion. I booked a table online, and when we arrived, there was literally a slice of meat left (just about), this was due to online orders. Unfortunately, the online orders seemed to take priority over those who came to the restaurant, which I find frustrating. I feel the diners in the building should take preference over any online orders.

We went for a carvery midweek on a Wednesday tea time. When we arrived we were greeted promptly by the staff who were friendly. They apologised for not being able to meet our request for a window seat but our table was adequate.
Our drinks order was taken and we got our carvery which was lovely, the meat was beautifully cooked and all the veg was tasty not dry at all. I would happily dine here again and recommend it thanks so much!

I visit this establishment everyday.
The staff are all very welcoming, very polite and attentive. I never have to wait for service and nothing is too much for them.
The food is always delicious with a wide variety of carvery food that is cooked to perfection. The refill drinks offer great value for money.
Harry, Amber, Maxton Jay, Summer, Will, Roxy Phoenix go above expectations in terms of the service they have provided me with. It’s always a pleasure to visit.

I was collecting a takeaway order for 36 meals. Arriving slightly early, the staff worked amazingly preparing the order during a very busy time at the carvery.
All the staff that I dealt with were extremely helpful, friendly, polite, and smiled throughout.
Everyone having a meal thanked the organisers for a great afternoon and lovely meal. Many thanks to all Toby Carvery Staff, Lincoln. Have a great Christmas.
