Toby Carvery Worcester Park

Food was luke warm, plates were cold.
A very unpleasant Sunday lunch.
Considering it had been refurbished & just reopened, it should have been the perfect opportunity to showcase a wonderful restaurant to encourage people to go to.
It used to be a great place to go to & eat, we have been there previously on numerous occasions. We will not be going back here again.

No Roast potatoes no yorkshire puddings. Waitress literally didn't know what she was doing.....due to insufficient training. Didn't know how to use ipad she was using to order drinks with. Salt pots were completely blocked and wet inside and rims were dirty. The serving hatch was a disgrace. One of chefs using a dustpan and brush then carried on serving food. Won't be going there again after what we saw today.

Had a great time visiting the Toby Jug restaurant. Food and service was spot on.
As a bonus, had a choice of roast spuds cooked in dripping (these days it's usual for them to be cooked in oil which were also available) and these were delicious. It was clearly stated that dripping had been used for anyone not so keen.
Highly recommended for a reasonably priced meal.

Resturant was lovely and clean staff were extremely polite and welcoming also very well presented with their uniform.
Food was lovely and tasty, nice and fresh and hot. Great selection especially enjoyed the sausages and the potatoes,bacon and onion mix was amazing! Myself and my 2 children left extremely full and happy had a great dining experience. Definitely recommend to all and we shall be going back.!

Arrived at lunch time (plenty of space in the car park even though a contractor was parked in a 'disabled' bay)and were shown to our table very quickly. Our waitress, Mel, was helpful and the service was excellent. The food from the carvery was well cooked. Roast potatoes were a little tough on the outside but good inside.
Definitely good value. We will return.

Waitress was lovely and although run off her feet did everything she could to make out time there comfortable and even helped light some candles for us.

Good service from the waitresses, would have been good to be told the car registration at desk was not working and where the other one was.

Long wait standing for the carvery that's why I gave 4 stars , 20mins we was waiting whilst they was doing takeaways then had to get more meat so took a while. It needed 2 people the poor chef was running around.

The food was tasty and a good roast.

All in all we left pleased and will be back again. We'll done to the waitresses and staff so near to Christmas.

Nicely refurbished. But meal was quite cold in parts. We arrived at 5pm, and I think this was the cause of the cold plate / veg problem ( it was -4C outside). After 530 the plate heater seems to have warmed up!
The festive Xmas pudding was actually slab of mince meat - avoid.
