Architecture, ceramics, paintings, antique furniture collected by generations of the same family. Waited 3 years to get tickets and was not disappointed. As privately owned only open for a few weeks in mid summer. Booking via the National Gallery, London.

Great tour with lots of info about the priceless works of art and the grounds of the castle. Glad I stumbled across it. We were the only Americans in the group.

Wow, WHAT a pile! One of the Prodigy houses that Queen Elizabeth the first used to visit. The most exquisite stately home - the seat of the Earls of Radnor. I live near Folkestone so was fascinated with the connection with Longford Castle (Playdell Gardens and Radnor Park etc) and Yes!! All part of the same family! Anyway, it was open for cream teas to fundraise Horatio's Gardens (in aid of the spinal injury charity). All the great and the good were there including Pip...(pa). Weather and delphiniums out of this world. When it comes to Jubilees and English Country Gardens noone does it better. And the foals were adorable.... Cream tea was pretty damn good too!

Bought tickets for an excellent guided tour lasting approx 2 hours, both of our guides were extremely knowledgeable and approachable...the Castle along with it's incredible collection of art and furniture is a must, very highly recommended.

Amazing gardens and castle. But it's a private property and that's just too bad for us peasants..
