Keele Cattery & Stables

I think it’s ok if your cat has basic needs but might not be suitable for cats needing more specialist care. They offer a collection service which is really handy if you don’t drive and are flexible about drop off and collection times. My cat has never been to a cattery before so I wasn’t sure what to expect and I wasn’t able to visit. I have a long haired, Persian chinchilla cat requiring daily grooming and eye cleaning. She has a sensitive tummy so I sent her dry food with her and they were able to supply the wet. They replied to messages asking after her and posted pics of her, showing her looking unsure with quite dirty eyes. She was returned to me after a short break with several mats in her fur, a stained bib and not very clean eyes. I sent brushes and eye cleaner with her and it doesn’t look like much was used. She smelt like a farm animal on her return so must have picked up all the smells from the cattery and stables in her fur. She was also ravenous. I know that she was fed and watered and treated nicely and kept safe which was the main thing but she seemed quite overwhelmed by her experience and was very happy to be home. I wouldn’t like to have left her there for longer than a week.

Olly has had a lovely first holiday at the cattery. He has been excellently looked after just like a 5 ⭐️ hotel.
He will definitely be returning for his next holiday when we go away for ours.
I highly recommend bringing your cat here because of the exceptional love and care shown to each and every guest.
Now if I could only get him to be so less picky with his food as he is when he is here lol.

Just collected our furry bundle after she'd spent a week with Keele Cattery and Stables. It's always a bit worrying leaving them when you're away but Nicholah and the team were great! The 'rooms' were more spacious than other catteries i've seen which was a plus as our cat is quite lively! We saw an update on Facebook whilst we were away which was lovely :) All in all, would definitely recommend! Our cat has gained a little extra holiday weight so this reassures me that she's been happy and well looked after! Thank you guys! xxx

Our cats were welcomed with kindness and attention to their likes and dislikes. The premises were scrupulously clean and secure. When collected our cats were in tip top condition and very contented. Highly recommended!

I inherited my cat from someone who passed away. After the trauma of change of home and owner I was worried about leaving him for 2 months while working overseas. However, I think he would quite happily have stayed at Keele Cattery! Lovely to see him gain and I now know next time I go overseas he has a second home

Our older cat stayed here for a week and it’s the first time she has ever boarded so we were a bit nervous about her going. There was no need to worry as they were absolutely fabulous and took such amazing care of her. We would 100% recommend lovely place and even lovelier people

it was Lunas first stay at Keele Cattery and Stables and she has loved it! such a great place, I will definitely be using again when we go on holiday. I felt at ease leaving her with the team there and they are all so welcoming. She's happy to be home but looks well cared for after a week away from us 💟 haven't got a bad word to say x

What a fantastic place this is!

Nikki the cattery owner treats all the cats like they are her own! The cattery is always spotless clean and she checks on the cats regularly and even late at night. My cat Sheila stays there regularly and I wouldn't take her anywhere else.

I would thoroughly recommend the cattery to anyone and everyone who is looking.
