CeX

When I went to CEX Stevenage today, to sell a couple of nice bits of tech, the boy at the counter treated me like it was just a massive chore to deal with me. One of my item was immaculate, but a bit dusty, so he tried telling me it was the lowest grade. I said its just a bit of dust, so he said, 'go home and clean it then and might give you B grade'.. If my employees treated people like this, like they are completely worthless, they would be given their P45. All my customers are left feeling like they are really important to us and they are.

I have literally spent £1000's at CEX online, and actually a fair bit in the store; I shall not be doing that again.

Nice store with great items but when I was selling the staff member who felt with really could not be bothered and made me feel like I was being a pain selling my items which they under pay for

I've bought two phones from CeX, and I had to send one of them back. There customer service was great. The staff in the stores strike the balance between being really friendly and not being 'in your face'. They seem like a really good bunch of people.

Affordable and nice place to get your items

Worst shop to buy.Carefully with the policyyy they don't give time at all to return the item in case you don't like in same condition... Please see the policy carefully YYYY .They are many other second hand shops they have good products with a 30 day return policy with a full refund...

Really good staff. They are always happy to help me with any questions that I have. Disc quality on video games has definitely improved over the years as well. Overall a good experience.

I have got mixed feelings about CEX. My partner who is pregnant went to buy my a new game and controller. She bought me farcry 6. The game was faulty and did not work after a day. She took the game back to get a refund and the gentle told her that they could only give her a voucher instead of a cash refund. She accepted and bought me two other games. I get back and the first game doesn’t work and is scratched. The second game works.

It gets very difficult due to only having my partner to help at the moment due to going to major surgery we cannot keep travelling to and from store. So now I am stuck with 2 games one of them don’t work and voucher that I can’t go into to store to spend due to the surgery. I have used cex for a number of years and haven’t had much of problem as I normally travel to letchworth to avoid the Stevenage store. Never had a problem until we used it.

You must have some quality control measures and some decent staff training but it must be lacking due to all these problems.

Wide variety of games and movies including ps2 and psp which is hard to find in stores.
