Pretty quick and easy to sell products usually...however went to Birmingham branch to sell laptop, they said fix the keyboard, I spend a couple of quid to repair it, then go to Redditch who say the company don't buy that model anymore...😑

First time using it and managed to quickly trade some of my old games to allow the kids to buy a new switch game which they got for Christmas. Staff were really helpful, but beware some items are cheaper new online than in store.

CeX is essentially a second hand store that deals exclusively in electronics, primarily phones, computers and consoles along with games, DVDs and Blu-rays.

I recommend using CeX if you want a console, computer or phone handset for a reasonable price and don't mind it being second hand as they test each device they get.

As for trading in I would recommend you get store credit rather than cash as you will get more to spend, but the final decision is yours to make. For that use their website as it will give you their prices, cash trade usually gets around a third of their sales price while store credit gets you around half. Which is standard fare for all trade in prices wherever you go.

It's been I long time since I've encountered such rude and obnoxious shop assistants such as these people. I was walking past the shop and saw a plug I meant to buy before Christmas but forgot to do it. There were 3 staff behind the counter and only me and my family on the other side. After 3 mins of being totally ignored, without even being acknowledged, my eldest daughter walked out. After another minute my wife asked me has anyone spoke to you and before I could even answer her one of them snapped and said only one of us is serving you will be seen as soon as she can. We left!
You work in a secondhand shop in a shopping centre if that makes you feel important and powerful then good luck to you, manners cost nothing. You're a credit to your parents and your employer. My first and last time in that place
