It's clean this is the only good think that I can say about this shop, and it's only because of that ridiculous big women(idk name) that is testing the stuff , she is very unprofessional and she laughed me into face when I was trying to trade! RUDE RUDE RUDE NEVER AGAIN, HIGHLY NOT RECOMENDED BETTER GO TO CARDIF THATS MY ADVICE

Well I don't have a good experience only because of 2 persons. Shannon(supervisor) i think that's her name , she is very unprofessional. I was selling Xbox controller so she took it for check if it's working that's normal, so I came in next 15 minutes and she told me that's controller doesn't working , I was shocked cuz half hour ago it was in perfect condition but what's is most important that was personal cuz she had problems with my pronounce sorry that I am imigrant:( why I thinking like this ? She was pushing me to say properly number 30 before I was selling my controller.so I decided send my friend with the same controller, he is English... And he sold controller. I was literally crying not because of money, but only because of treating. Another guy was that big guy in glasses (from Asian background (don't want to be offensive but I don't know his name)) he was very ruse to me that's all if management have questions I will answer them. What I need to say big shout-out for rest of the crew always smiling, always helpful especially for that guy I think Louis and that big guy with beard (always have a cool shirt) very professional and they answered my all questions, I am ver glad thank you! Again big apologize for that I am imigrant. I am in retail gaming business for 4 years and I always have good memories from my deals , business , conversation but this what happened gonna stay with me for a long time. Probability that something gonna change is low but my review gonna stay here and I hope gonna be helpful. Greatings!

The prices on most of their items are more than eBay and Facebook market. Wouldnt ever think about going there again.

My wife took a phone in to sell in near perfect condition the phone had been previously checked on cex web she was offered three prices all well under the stated price on web site so beware

I got my PS5 repaired 3 weeks ago and it had stopped working again. I took it into the Newport branch to see if they could send it off for repair under warranty. The first man asked me if I could take it to the repair shop a few doors down (a completely different company from CEX). When I told him that I wanted it repaired again by them as it could be covered under warranty he told me he didn’t know how to do that and acted as if this was a very difficult request. His manager then came over and kept saying she didn’t know how to do this, then said she had never had a repair be sent back so it seems impossible that my PS5 could be faulty again. She then proceeded to say it was my fault my PS5 had broke again due to poor handling and that she may be able to find out how to send it off but this could take weeks, I was happy with this as I just wanted it sent off but then she just kept saying it would not be repaired. From the seems of it the process may be a ball ache because nobody wanted to help and they were extremely unprofessional. I then contacted the customer service phone number who were lovely and helpful and advised me to take it back to be sent off as this issue should be covered under warranty.

I completely understand if they aren’t able to fix under warranty and told the manager I would pay if this was not possible but again she didn’t really want to know. Think the people in Newport need some customer services training.

How can you advertise things put them on display when a customer goes out of there way to call in to buy it is told sorry can't sell you it without any explanation

Typical CeX, nothing good to say but nothing bad to say. Staff have been pretty good on my visits.

I ordered an item online, they sent me the wrong phone. When I went to the staff every single staff was horrible. They were so rude and it should be illegal for staff to treat customers like this. Cex refused to give me a refund even though I showed proof that I bought the phone. Will never buy from here again. Scam website with rude staff.
