Ming Moon Chinese Restaurant

Haven't been to Ming Moon for years but we had a lovely night. The food was lovely. Lots of choice and it was all hot and tasty. The decor was really nice and it had all been done out since I'd last been. Will definitely be back soon.

Haven't been since 2019 and was very disappointed. Place looks very worn and dirty, go and look at the state of the carpets etc on route to the toilets it's disgusting. Limited dishes despite us paying premium price, quality of food is poor and alot of dishes not topped up or have been there for hours. Indian selection lacks flavour, limited and dry. Desserts again very limited. Staff lack interest and this is shown as the floor was very dirty with food, my daughter slipped twice due to how slippy it was. Sadly this place is not worth a visit anymore, used to be a fantastic place to eat at, the best of its kind, I don't know what's happened to the place but we will not be back. Avoid the place :(

I recently had my daughter 16th birthday meal here and i can say that I am so disappointed with the service and behaviour of the staff.
No proper communication from the beginning.
place needs a good CLEAN and staff needs to be taught proper hygiene..Makes me wonder what happens in the kitchen..Used to be a good place...

Came in as a party of 10, very quick to be seated, staff were absolutely lovely, kids loved the candy floss! Place needs a bit of TLC, some of the furniture is a bit tatty but overall lovely place, value for money and the host in particular was fabulous, really friendly and good at his job

We were able to get a table at short notice, early on a Friday evening. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Food is fresh and tasty. We prefer to go here than to order a take out from elsewhere as you can try a little bit of everything that takes your fancy.

Possibly the worst buffet experience I have had.. I just want to state that this does no reflect the other Ming moon restaurants as I can attest to the high quality of the food and service provided.
So firstly my partner booked the restaurant days in advance informing them that we have a special needs child... when we arrived we got seated in an area surrounded by loud families with children running around, knocking into you as you returned to your table... we were also sat next to a broom and a waste bin, let me just say that there is nothing more apetitising than smelling other peoples food waste and being greeted by the scraping and banging of peoples food waste as it is disposed off... so if you want to spend full price for all of the above.. well ming moon wolverhampton can provide the service .
My partner tried to approach the manager who pretty much disregarded our complaint only to just move the bin.. and I have tried contacting them via email to no success.

Over all the service and customer service is disgusting and no matter how nice the food is... the service leaves it tasting as bad as your experience.

I do not recommend this place due to the higher price in later hours. The restaurant was open until 21:00, at 19:30 it was no longer possible to take food normally, because the staff took away the food, moving around was difficult due to avoiding the carts that cleaned the premises.
