China Garden Restaurant

Staff were very friendly and helpful food was nice. Not fantastic but nice. Cost was about right as you would expect for this type of establishment. We did book a table as we weren't sure how busy it would be. It wasn't we were the only ones there but there was lots of people coming in and ordering take aways. The helping of each dish was good. This actually is the second time in a week we have visited China garden as we enjoyed it so much the first time but don't expect the massively posh China cos its not that. But as I've previously said it clean and comfortable and the food is good. Oh and they play back ground Chinese music.

Food was nice but if you want to take your leftovers away you have to pay 50p per tub so I won't be going there again as its just money grabbing and no other restaurants do that so for the sake of a couple of pounds you've lost 2 customers that would have come back and paid £60 plus

The food was excellent but the service was slow, there wasn't many people eating in but the take away side was busy. To serve them they left us and others eating in we were left for a long time.

Fantastic food time after time regardless of the chosen dishes. A big thank you for making our treat night that bit more special.

We are fairly new to the area and were trying to book a restaurant table at the weekend. Everywhere was booked up until we tried ringing this establishment. Surprisingly they could book a table for any time we wanted.
We had never visited before but turned up at the appointed time and immediately left. From what I could see this is basically a take away with a few tables within what is the waiting area for those collecting take away meals. It was very busy with people waiting for take aways and many were even sitting at the tables waiting their turn. Noone else was actually sitting and eating.
For all I know the food might be great but I had no desire to sit amongst a crowd whilst eating so we left

Had a delivery tonight to our caravan at Dinarth farm & gutted we only Justin found you at the end of season 😢 absolutely gorgeous food & everything was still so hot thank you 🙏🏽 5* from us & im in catering myself,so yes I’m a bad critic 🤔

Very tasty Chinese food with friendly service. We got the meal for 4 people. The sweet corn soup and the duck wraps were lovely appetizers. The main meals were also nice with the prawn black bean being the standout. The chicken in the chicken and mushroom dish was tender, I loved the pineapple in the sweet and sour pork, and the sweet and spicy beef sauce was lovely. Very satisfied with this meal and the owner was very friendly and attentive throughout the night, shredding our duck in front of us, putting rice on each of our plates, and giving us baby wipes to wipe our hands after the wraps
