Laughing Buddha Restuarant

Coming from America, I'm used to big portions, and I was delighted to find that not only did they offer large amounts of delicious food, it far exceeded my expectations and always led to me overeating. Self control, you CAN take it home with you for later! It's still good!
The lemon chicken was my favorite.

Hate posting reviews, but feel I need to provide a balance. Having read loads of amazing reviews about this place I was looking forward to going. However, we had 2 different chicken dishes which both looked and tasted practically the same, apart from some chilli and carrot on one dish. The chicken tasted like ready cooked chicken from a freezer that they warmed up and put a jar of sauce on. A bit like a £2 microwave meal from a supermarket. But these were £10.50 each!! Our starters were nice, but be wary of the main meals... the staff kindly gave us an alternative for free and didn't charge us for one of the dishes which we didn't eat... the other dish we only ate because it was 8pm and we were hungry! The rice was tasteless and I could've made it myself easily enough with a sachet. The bill would've been over £40 for 2 people if we hadn't complained, but to be honest I could've had the same quality from the local shop for £6 all in. Friendly staff but we won't be returning ever again.

Update.. service wasn't great and they lost my booking and some of the staff were clearly new and were unsure, some of our meals were disappointing and bland won't be rushing back unfortunately.

Very tasty food and a very quick service, the Duck and the Chicken noodles are amazing and sea weed was very tasty and the sweet and sour chicken was very good, great atmosphere and the prices are good, the drink are quite expensive, the staff are fantastic. Was 5 star

Table of 7, adults and children some with different dietary requirements, ate on a Friday evening. The service was brilliant, our server, Tara, could not have done any more for us. We asked a lot of questions because of allergens and being unsure of how much to order for the party and she was patient and answered all questions.
The food was outstanding, fresh and delicious and certainly plenty of it!
Would highly recommend, and we will be returning soon.

By far the nicest Chinese food we've eaten in a long time. Second visit just as good as the first. Restaurant busy both times but still excellent service. Cant wait to go again next time visiting Wales.

Excellent food, we had the banquet and were overwhelmed with how much food there was, The waitresses gave excellent service and were very friendly, Also we could take home anything we couldn’t manage which was packaged in a take out bag. Great evening.

We drive past this place every time we come to wales and always say we will try it and tonight we finally did and boy was it worth it.
The friendliness we received from first walk-in through the doors and being immediately shown to our table was absolutely first class. Very quick service right through ordering our drinks and food which also turned out to be delicious, the manager/owner and his staff are a pleasure and nothing at all was to much trouble. Can definitely see this being our go to resteraunt/takeaway when we are at our caravan.

A table for four was booked and we arrived was met by some lovely staff who show us to our table we made our order and did not wait long I can only say my wife and I had generous portions all piping hot and very tasty too, can only but recommend a visit you will not be disappointed.
