New Diamond Chinese

Ordered the soup which was tasteless. However the noodles were rubbery with no taste, the crispy chilli beef was very soggy and not nice. The salt and pepper ribs were horrible with no salt on. And the kung po chicken was not crispy at all. Even the prawn crackers were done wrong. Probably the worst Chinese I've ever had.

The food itself is fine but the waiting time for delivery is a bit all over the place to say the least!!!. I'm told 40 minutes then it ends up being an hour, then another time told an hour but it's close to an hour & a half. But frustrating really, easpeally as there's quite a lot of competition around. If they sorted out the delivery side of things a bit better then it would be bang on.

I've been a customer for at least 6 years now. Always perfect every time.
During the lock down I tried else where once as they were closed and no other place will ever beat the amazing service, food and prices New Diamond have to offer.

1 star that being generous, for simply fast service. The food itself... Terrible. Chicken chow main was slimy in texture and the chips, hard, oily and tasteless. As for the curry sauce it was watery. Will never be order here again. Waste of money and time.

They are very professional and also cater to your needs as a customer. Service is brilliant can't fault them at all. Delivery driver is always friendly & The Food is always Good food as well as good portion sizes.

We have used this place for many years, the food is always lovely. Plenty of it, nice and hot. The best takeaway Chinese in chesterfield to be honest.

Egg fried rice in clumps, got told it's because it's late at night, and the rice is sticky. Oh so I pay good money for my food and you can't cook it right. And she was laughing when she gave her feeble excuse.
