Empire Chinese Takeaway

I have never had issues with empire apart from the food being a bit greasy until today when most of the food that was delivered was completely wrong. I have always ordered peking sauce from here and always loved it but tonight when my peking sauce arrived it smelt horrendous and like BBQ. The customer service from empire was also awful, they tried to tell me that this is how they make the sauce, I tried to explain that it tastes nothing like peking that I have previously ordered and it literally was disgusting. They were rude and kept also having a conversation with another employee whilst on the phone to me. I asked for a refund so I could order somewhere else and will not be returning after tonight sadly.

We had a great meal even though I ordered the wrong thing for my wife , but she loved it. Not only that but they delivered 15 mins earlier than expected. Good service and tasty food

Spring roll,King Prawn in b bean sauce and sweet and sour pork

Visited my friend two week ago and we wanted having something before I left. Unfortunately, very late delivery with cold food. We waited nearly two hours. No apology. Very Awful takeaway. Curry sauce just no tasty and everything small portion. Chicken Fried Rice just a few pieces of meat. Chips was overcooked. Salt and pepper chips was too salty. I won't recommend this Awful Chinese takeaway.

Dish came with pork
Not mentioned anywhere in the explanation of the dish that it had pork in it. Very disrespectful towards customers upon challenging this. Very unhappy with my food and they won't even admit their mistake.
The dish explained on the menu was completely wrong and the manager refused to talk to us on the phone. Very discriminating towards special requirements due to religious reasons.

Apart from the odd time, this place has been spot on for years. Would highly recommend.

Always been good chinese food hot and on time x

We have used this takeaway on a weekly basis for many years, it has always been delivered hot and the food lovely. Tonight as my husband tucked into his chicken in spring onion and ginger he was alarmed to feel something in his mouth, on retrieving the hard morsel we discovered it was a bitten off finger nail. This put us both off our meals and on discarding the food into a carrier bag found a second bitten off finger nail! Needless to say we will no longer be a customer after over a decade. So disappointed.
