888 Chinese Takeaway

Best Chinese I've had in Winchester hands down. The vegetable rice was absolutely amazing and it is one of the few restaurants where I have found honey duck! Quick delivery too!

Normally we always order from here, but our latest food came cold, with melted plastic lids on our meat dishes. Incredibly rude, and unwilling to do anything about it. Never again!! Don't order from here!

Ordered crispy aromatic duck, this was mostly fat. The pancakes were over cooked and hard. Cuncumber discoloured and not enough of the or spring onion.
Chicken satay skerewers were overcooked and very dry.
Seaweed tasted like it was off.
Overall absolutely disgusting. Will never order from here again

Been using it for ages. Generally satisfactory. Not as good as in the past with flavourings lacking in a few dishes but good for a quick takeaway

Order came sooner than estimated and the food is really great. Got the chicken noodles + chips, and it was delicious. Massive bag of chips!

Only giving it one star so Google allows me to write this review, really doesn't deserve it. Perfect chinese for those who enjoy staying up all night heaving into a bucket, sweating buckets & spending the next 24 hours holding your stomach praying you dont vomit up your organs. 👍

I love that you can see them cooking your meal.

First they tried to charge us for spring rolls that are meant to be free, then the food arrived lukewarm. Not only that but we ordered the bamboo shoots and water chestnuts from the VEGETARIAN menu and when it came it was half filled with CHICKEN. To top it off, there was a chunk of mangled plastic in it as well!

We will NEVER be ordering from here again. A shame because they have been our regular for years but their new management is terrible!
