The best Chinese Takeaway in North Essex! We have been using them since 1998 and never had a bad meal yet.

Food is always ready within 15 minutes of ordering and always tastes great. Their Chef Special Chow Main is one of my favourites around and practically a meal in itself.

Will be using them for many years to come and I can (and do) thoroughly recommend them.

Since moving to Colchester, this is the best Chinese we have come across by far. However, we were a little disappointed with the 1/2 crispy duck, compared to other take away Chinese where the portion size was a little on the small side. Otherwise I would of put 5 stars.

The only place I know locally that still do what I call proper thick Chinese chips...salt and chilli ribs and beef chow mein was delicious

Having moved to the area recently, thought I’d try this as Chinese being one of favourite takeaways the other day!!! Enjoyed the chicken dumplings (am used to chicken balls from previous Chinese where I lived) as found them less filling, but still really nice!! Got the mushroom chow mein!! Will definitely make this a regular option for me!! Fantastic 😋😋

Order placed at 18.15, was due to arrive 19.15, I phoned at 19.30 and was told another 45 minutes, phoned at 20.15 and was told another 30 minutes, phoned at 20.45 and was told definitely it would be 15 minutes, phoned at 21.05 and was told definitely only another 15 minutes. Finally got the order at 21.30 which is 3hrs 15 minutes wait. If they had been honest from the start I wouldn’t of minded but just kept giving times they couldn’t meet. The food was mediocre aswell, the prawn on toast very good as always but the chow mein was bland, prawn balls were lukewarm and the beef was like rubber. Standards have seriously dropped and won’t be going back. Shame as used to be a decent takeaway

terrible food, satay sauce like brown water, hard king prawns, pork Chinese style comes with bits of onion and other small bits of veg but no bed of beansprouts like other takeaways just in flavourless brown water. The pork looks nothing like their photo on the menu, if it arrived like that I would have been very happy with the pork at least. Was my birthday too and was really disappointed. Will never use them again, although a Chinese guy delivered the food it was barely warm, YUCK stay away

Loyalty means nothing to this place.
Even got beef in a sns vegetable dish.
Missed 2 dishes but yet couldn't do nothing about it or refund me as card machine was down but yet took payment through it🤷‍♂️
Shocking

Not as good as past visits unfortunately. The Hong-Kong sweet and sour chicken seemed to have been microwaved. When ordering at the counter the young lady was arrogant very poor communication. The wife and I wandered if they're under new management. Not to sure if we'll return.
