Meow’s Chinese Takeaway

Visited upon a recommendation. Very nice lady serving who explained to me that my takeaway was ready, however, as it was raining hard, would I like to stay dry inside and they would keep my takeaway hot for me until the downpour desisted? I had large spring rolls which may have been homemade. They contained glass noodles. I then had Kung Po Chicken and the only disappointment was it wasn’t in batter. It was nice and spicy though. I also had Singapore Fried Rice which was nice. Received some free prawn crackers too which is always a nice touch.

I think I have just found my new local chip shop!👏👏👏

£3 for a large bag of chips, good crispness and tasty.

Next steps is for them to start selling vegan fish and battered sausages.

Simply lovely lemon chicken, as was everything else actually. Our friends who recommended here while we were all staying at a local camp site, couldn't believe they even remembered their special dietary requirements having only been there once! That's personalised service right there.

I've litreally just ate with ny mum and daughter and not enjoyed a Chinese for a gd few years, I always thought Meows was pick up only..

Nice to see egg noodles instead of them thin rice noodles everywhere else serves.

I order from meows at least once a week if I can, the service is second to non. I am always greeted in a person centred way on the telephone and the lady there knows my order by heart, she makes suggestions based on what we like and that is the sort of person centred service I love. The fact the food is always 100% on point, fresh and really tasty is what keeps us going back. I highly recommend this restaurant we only live close by and would n ver go anywhere else thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication to your takeaway. We at No 18 really appreciate. Food is great but been waiting 2.5 hours, no one is answering the phone. Kids will be going to bed late, absolutely ridiculous.

Edited from 2 stars to 1, after waiting 3 hours my food turned up and several items were missing/wrong. Still unable to contact them after trying 63 times. Very very disappointed.

After seeing the shop front I nearly drove away, but only based on a referral who promised me its top notch, I bit the bullet and placed a order.

This is probably the freshest, best value for money, Chinese you will get in Tunbridge wells.

Such value for money, staff listen to all my instructions, actually a Chinese what doesn't fast track and deep fry everything they actually use a grill.

The staff here need to invest and open a restaurant, as it beats everywhere I have been since I have moved to Kent.
