Mo Lin Chinese Restaurant

Greeted and seated on arrival without a booking. Notice on door said Short staffed so service affected and we were there 2 hours dur to slower service but no issue as expected.
Given choice of all you can eat or a la carte menu..Food was DIVINE especially the szechaun chicken and the sizzling prawns with spring onions and ginger!
Fair haired girl with glasses served us, didn't get her name but her customer service is great so she deserves the recognition! She said she's been there 3 weeks and is between her GCSES and going to college..really friendly and happy to answer any questions about menu. Shredded our aromatic duck at table when serving which was nice detail..
Had a really lovely date night here. Made more sense for the two of us to the a la carte menu especially as they charge you food wastage which could potentially be higher on all you can eat. I don't agree with this policy . Thank you for lovely food and secure. :)

We loved this restaurant! Everything from the atmosphere (cute decor, nice lighting), to the mellow music to the service, was great! Rose, our waitress, was super sweet. The squid, the crispy duck and the delicious shrimp was some of the best Chinese food Ive had!

We had a lovely all you can eat lunch today. The service, deco and ambience was lovely. The waitress was very efficient, and her her service was impeccable. The all you can eat menu was varied, with lots of options available to meet eaters and veggies. We really enjoy the Vegetable and Chinese mushroom dish. The vegetarian Kung Po and Sezchuan wasn't to our taste, they tasted very similar.

However, the starters and noodles were good. We would definitely return for a lunch again. Thank you.

I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Atrocious service.

We booked ahead of time for a party of 15 people, choosing to go with the AYCE option.

We arrived at 7.30pm as per our booking. The starters came out instantly but only half of the table were served their mains. We left without having our mains since there was no indication that we would be getting our food.

Terrible service, I can see why this place is rated so poorly. I would avoid and take your money elsewhere, as this place is still lucky to be open. What a farce.

I had dinner with some colleagues from work the food was good. The atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant. However, we were disappointed to find that a £31 service charge was added to our bill in pencil without our knowledge. When we questioned the manager about it, she stated that it was a common practice and that including it officially on the receipt would result in them paying taxes. Initially, we were unable to receive a VAT receipt for the full amount of £341 paid. However, after further discussion with the manager, we received a VAT receipt for the actual £341 paid. I would advise caution when dining at this establishment.

Ordered food on NYE’s for takeaway for my family and unfortunately we were very ill afterwards. Called the restaurant to ask for a refund and explained how poorly we were. The restaurant said no as we have to prove it was food poisoning by a doctor?! The restaurant said they were very busy for NYE, and no one else has complained. When I turned up to collect the food only one table was full? It’s a shame as it used to be a lovely restaurant. Food was not good and all of the chicken was chewy, such a shame.

Authentic Chinese Food (Cantonese Style)

I have the roasted duck takeaway today, really delicious. The roasted skin is crispy, meat is soft and the smell is wonderful. The taste of the real Cantonese style, will go to there again.
