Wong's Chinese Takeaway

I ordered a Chinese for my children as a treat, whilst I was on a date night. On my return the chicken was pink, and hard. A metal staple was found in the chow mein. Most of what was bought was not eaten, but still both of my children had food poisoning, vomiting and stomach problems. I called to complain and was severely insulted by a women who has no customer service skills. Please do not eat from here. It has not passed food and safety standards obviously. I'm seeking advice from food industry in how to complain and report. Obviously none of my £45 money back.

We've ordered from there a few times through Deliveroo and it's always been great! The food is exactly what you'd expect from a Chinese takeaway. Nothing fancy, but delicious and filling. Also that's among the few takeaways that say the food will be with you in 15-20 mins and it really does!

Make sure you check your food when you order from here. I found a long gross hair one time I ordered from here I hope no buddy has to go through what I did.

Awful awful takeaway place! Food did not arrive and they were convinced it was delivered. The woman on the phone was shouting and refusing to call the driver or even send food again. I would advise to avoid this place - there are many other better restaurants around the area.

I ordered food on Just Eat.. something told me to check the Google reviews only just when I ordered the food.

I have read reviews on how the woman on the phone is disrespectful, which I disagree with on this occasion she was very nice and understanding.

Regarding the food I have taken 3 bites maximum and just had to throw all of it in the bin.

The egg fried rice does not taste fresh at all.. tastes like it’s 4 days old… It just looks brown and grey. With takeaway services I understand with the order load you may prep in advance for the day.. but this is not how egg fried rice should or taste.. 1 bite and I had to throw this into the bin

The spring roll tasted really werid and had a funny taste to it..

The Kong po chicken had a strong vinegary scent to it… a lot of pieces were just fried puff balls with barely any chicken inside it

Honestly for how multi cultured Walthamstow is a lot of the take away services are really poor for the prices we paid.

£13.50 I paid for 3 spoonfuls to all go into the bin… I don’t like leaving bad reviews but this place is just awful.

Top food , I have ordered from many over the years & i use wongs always now, always tasty, large portions & never had any problems with anything I have ordered .

Friendly staff and extremely tasty food... 5 stars from me 😋
