Nice food. Fairly quick service. 10 minutes. King prawns used to be better. A bit dry now. Make sure you tell them if you need a big or small portion to avoid getting now what you meant to order. Delivery takes up to 45 minutes.

I've lived in Sutton for over 30 years and the Melbourne has been here all that time and with good reason.

The food is tasty and well priced and for me this is the go to place for takeaway Chinese food.

As some other reviewers have noted the family that run this can seem distant and on occasion, rude. To be honest, I've just become accustomed to this and its become part of the charm of the place.

Food is prepared extremely quickly making it feasible to order and wait in the shop. Delivery is also available though.

This place used to be good, but they recently significantly increased their prices as well as increased the quantities of MSG they add to their food. I wake up 3-4 times in the night needing water after one of their dinners. They dilute the plum sauce with water when they are running out of it. Overall use of little tricks which they think customers won’t notice has gone up. Anyway, I challenge anyone to sleep through the night without having to get up 3-4 times for water after eating this food anytime post 8pm. Unless they improve drastically, I’m staying well clear!

Ordered a Chinese from this place for my family. Order came to £140. An hour before I was due to pick it up, the restaurant cancelled my order, saying they could not make it. Very disappointing, however placed the same order with Stonleigh Palace chinese and got fast delivery, fantastic food, hot and decent portions for £108.Melbourne is expensive and overated. Won't reccomend or use them again. In this climate you would think they would have relished an order of this size. Their loss I'm afraid.

Ordered set for take away. A bit disappointed with it. The food is not tasty as I expected and too greasy for me, and taste as they used the oil quite many times without changing. The sauce actually feels like a total oil. The rice and bean sprout dish are good. I have tried many Chinese take aways but this one actually at the bottom of my list now. Will definitely never come back.

This is one of the worst in Sutton. I think better to avoid. The lady sitting in-front of the counter really rude. She is like cash focused. Customer Service 0% Food 0% Better council should inspect food quality etc. Please avoid.

Super dodgy on uber eats. They have accepted my order and cancelled it in 20 seconds. They have told uber that they started preparing the food so I was charged for the whole meal without ever receiving anything. Stay away!!

Really good food. Bit of a wait for it to arrive, especially on a week day and they did get one rice wrong but other than that, food was tasty, hot and good quality/quantity. Would definitely recommend
