As ever, food excellent & good value. Social distancing measures for takeaway work very well. New canopy outside very welcome during wet weather. Seems like new owners have smoothed the Saturday night rush. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

When you pre order by phone they say it will be ready in 20 minutes, but they only start making the food ones your there and have paid it’s a joke, pluse the food is average at best

Best takeaway in Aylesbury and we have tried a few. Ribs are best you will find and duck is 10/10

Came in on Christmas Eve. The guy turned away from me in the the middle of ordering to serve another customer whose food was already ready. Had been standing waiting for 10 minutes to put in the order. No hello, no sorry just no care for customers whatsoever. Walked out won’t be using ever again.

Food is average but was not great on Sat 22nd Jan. One dish was bad and one of our number vomited. We spent a lot on our meal. Double 8 must get with the times and obtain proper card facilities as we had to cross the road to draw cash which delayed our meal collection and this also cost 99p to take out plus our own bank have also charged us, unnecessarily adding over £3 to our bill in banking charges, creating hassle for their customers, where no doubt they will save. Also they should be more accurate in assessing collection times to prevent hanging around in Covid times. We were regular customers who as a result may not use this take away again.
