Lancing Oriental Express

Absolutely gorgeous!! Not really a fan of Chinese takeaways but this has changed my mind. The egg fried rice was to die for! So soft and fluffy, not oily and full of flavour. The chips were massive too! Would 100% recommend xo

No collections and no walk in orders. A person at the counter inside (answering the phone I guess). So I carried on walking and got delicious fish and chips from a local place instead. Maybe a COVID thing? Weird.

Ordered chilli beef from here and after eating a small amount I noticed there is no beef in it hardly at all. Its some kind of batter but with in it or if there is its not beef and its transparent. Have a look if u order it. Rest of its good but I was annoyed to pay about £7 for a bag of batter

Used to be my go to Chinese, absolutely delicious and would recommend to anyone, but unfortunately since covid I have refused to use it due not being able to do collections or walk ins, forcing me to pay a delivery fee of around £3, though this is currently showing as £1.50 on their website. I refused to do this as I live a 5 min walk away, a minutes drive if that. I had assumed the collections rule had finished since covid restrictions ended and happened to be outside so called them to place an order, I was advised I would have to go home, place an order (and obviously pay) for a delivery. I did so that time, from another takeaway in Lancing. Otherwise I have to thank them for curbing my ability to impulse buy Chinese takeaway, I suppose. A real shame, I don't know why it's no longer local friendly.

Stopped using this chinese for a couple of months as the food was not good. It was always the best chinese in lancing so was dissapointed however last night I reordered and wether it has had a change in chef or owner it seems to back to as good as it was last year. Chilli beef and Singapore noodles were great.

Just the best and healthiest Chinese takeaway in the area! Fresh and delicious food. We travel all the way from Arundel. We’ve tried other places close by but always come back - it’s the best!

The good bits…. Fast delivery, hot
The bad bits….. masses of large raw onion Carrots and pepper. Cantonese sweet and sour chicken same taste and texture as Crispy chilli beef. Fluorescent pink sauce same on both dishes. Never to be repeated!

The only Chinese takeaway worth bothering with. Exceptional food, delivered as ordered (allergens removed), great customer service from owner to drivers.

Even after moving away from the area, this is the only Chinese we order from. Sometimes they may run a little late, but I trust that’s because the chefs are getting your order right. And I’d much rather that than the risk of a poorly tummy!
