Ordered a curry with rice and chips and side order of water chestnuts with bamboo shoots this was the worst curry I have every had ! or tasted food was lovely and hot but curry was thick gloopy and overpowering flowery taste really strange ! water chestnuts were served whole the whole meal was very disappointing first time I’ve ordered won’t be ordering again

Absolutely amazing food, everything about the food was to a high standard, it was delivered piping hot, each item was tender and the taste was out of this world. Best Chinese we have had for over 10 years x

I've tried alot of the Chinese restaurants in Lichfield, and I think Angel is the best. The portion sizes are more than generous, using large chunks of meat in their dishes, even with the more expensive meats like duck. It's a bit more expensive than the average, but not by a huge amount, and it's 100% worth it. The quality of the ingredients really stands out and everything is always fresh!

New to the area, second time I’ve ordered. First time was good, ordered through website app second time.

Duck curry. Ordered without onion, had LOTS of onion. Curry average at best, duck very hard. Binned it.

Chips. Decent portion size, not bad, found a few hard ones, standard.

Crispy squid. Lacked seasoning, had to add more salt. Odd from what is usually a salty dish
Chicken wings in king do sauce - wings were hot, most sauce on bottom of tray and not on wings.

Overall disappointing. Called to tell them duck curry order was wrong and they offered replacement, but at that point I didn’t want more hard duck. Told them not to bother. Won’t be returning.

First time ordering here. Portion sizes were good but disappointed with the quality of the food. All the food lacked flavour. Sweet and sour chicken was very chemically pungent; salt and pepper chips might as well have just been plain chips; spring rolls were dripping with oil and filled only with beansprouts.
It also stated on the website that there would be free prawn crackers on orders over £25 but we didn’t receive these (but probably for the best).

Absolutely dreadful. Waited 2 and half hours for food they told us would be 45mins. Rang up multiple times and always told it was on the way. Final call, told us food was coming and then slammed phone down. Never again!!!!

Worst Chinese in Lichfield. Chicken curry was bland, and literally had 5 peas and no onions. Chips were rock hard. Chicken was horrible. Disgusting

Fantastic food this is one of the best restaurants in Lichfield constantly consistent food and great staff I always have the prawn curry it's always briliant
