Conveniently located on the Ivybridge high st they offer a good selection and reasonably priced takeway meals. I'd recommend phoning your order in to save hanging around.

We came here for a quick lunch with over an hour a half to spare before our theatre shows, ordered dim sum and mains. The mains came, we wanted to save our appetite for the dim sum, told them we were in a rush, can we take the rest of our mains away (they charged 50p per container, but OK)

Several minutes later they asked will that be all? I told them we were waiting for dim sum. I should've cancelled at this point, but made the mistake of politely asking unless they're on their way?

Five minutes, she lied. This was confirmed when another lady came to say the server had crashed and our order hadn't gone through. Again I tried to cancel but she assured five minutes.

To speed things along, I paid up, so we could eat quickly and rush off. This was a mistake as they clearly hadn't started preparing our order, just wanted to keep our money.

Almost 25 minutes, we put our coats on and started to leave (regretting already paid) when the food arrived. My daughter politely asked them to pack it quickly (lucky for them they didn't dare try to charge 50p per container again) and handed it us with no apology.

Dim sum isn't something that keeps and we didn't want to smell out the theatre, so we handed a homeless person 35 pounds worth of dumplings.

What bothers me most is when I told the lady we ordered our food ages ago I got the response "yeah yeah yeah"

Left a sour and definitely not sweet taste to our theatre outing

This was the worst meal I have ever had from a takeaway, let alone an Asian takeaway. It is quite awful, bland, gristle and fat with a complete lack of Chinese flavour? After a mouthfuls I threw it into the bin, it wasn't even edible. Feel really cross that I paid for that. Phoned to talk them to make a complaint and there is no answer. Its very, VERY bad.

Will not be visiting here again I’m afraid. It’s open a bit later than the other Chinese in town, which is convenient when you need a late night dinner fix. Staff were friendly and service was prompt too… sadly the food was bland and pretty tasteless. ‘Crispy’ chilli beef was a soggy mess. Didn’t even keep what we didn’t eat to have the next day.
