Pearl Dragon Chinese Takeaway

Been a customer for some years with minimal complaints, but sadly last night had one, if the worst meals I have ever known, Chicken with spring onion and ginger with egg fried rice. Very little chicken, no spring onion, slight fragrance of ginger, however copious amounts uncooked white onion, few carrots and a watery consistence of sauce. Complicated with boiled rice and a smattering of egg flakes.

Ordered from here everytime we have gone camping in cheadle, never had any problems previously. Ordered on Tuesday night spent a fortune and was absolutely appalled. Where do I start. The price is extortionate, the food was totally bland as though no salt or seasoning was used. Every dish was strange in colour and there was very little meat in the dishes. Sauces were like water very disappointed and will not be returning. Don’t waste your money

Stay in Alton Tower for three days holiday, order delivery from it,45 mins arrived on time.I would highly recommend.

I took my family on a trip back to my homeland from the West Coast of the USA. We stayed for a few days at Alton Towers but decided to venture out one night to grab some food. We stumbled across this little diamond of a place tucked away down a narrow side street. This was my family's first every trip to the UK so they were not accustomed to what food choices there are so we dove in an got a plethora of dishes to try.

The service was great, polite and attentive. Portion sizes were very good and the quality of the food was also very high. There wasn't a scrap left by the end of the meal! It's funny, we spent just over 4 weeks traveling the UK and having all sorts of adventures, however, 1 of the most memorable events was the night we found the Pear Dragon and ate it at Alton Towers on an ironing board.

Already plotting a return in 2021! ;o)

**A little update, after 2years we were able to get back and visit Alton Towers and stopped here on the way back. Just as awesome and such a family memory we all cherish. Delish!

***Update #2, just had the pleasure of ordering here while back in the UK, I can confirm it's as delicious as ever with great staff! Can't wait to go back next week.

The salt and pepper chilli spare ribs were amazing. The king prawn chow mein and the chicken fried rice were good.

Always really nice food. Friendly staff and fast service. Definitely recommend.

Vegetarian meal with unidentified and unexplained meat in it. Very poor response from the takeaway and their explanation does point to the possibility it was rodent.

Amazing chinese, this is our GO-TO chinese takeaway. Always great food, always fresh and tastes great. Highly recommended!
