Our favourite Chinese takeaway and relatives from Kent say it's better than anything they have down there !!

Bitterly disappointed. Used to be such a good Chinese.
Chicken Chop Suey was just full of broccoli and other english veggies. Clearly food was packed out with cheap food stuffs.
King Prawn satay was also packed out with vegetables and so many chillis the dish was inedible.
Such a shame

Excellent food. I just tried for the first time and I'm really happy with the food. If you like Chinese food, you should try Mandarin House.

I have only ever heard good reviews of Mandarin House so was bitterly disappointed with our takeaway. My husband had a Singapore Chow Mein that was just noodles and veges. He found 2 shimps in it and a couple of small pieces of chicken. He had requested no pork but still expected more meat with his tasteless meal.
I had a beef curry with egg fried rice which was not only bland, but the beef was slimey and totally inedible . I only had a couple of forkfulls, thinking it was just the first couple of pieces of beef but I couldn't stomach any more as it made me feel sick. I always say I have a cast iron stomach and can eat anything but this beat me. On a positive note, there was plenty of beef in it , its just a pity it tasted revolting.
Needless to say, we won't be going there again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We had bbq ribs, beef chop suey, special fried rice, crackers and chips. Everything was excellent. Will be going back very soon. Did I mention EXCELLENT?

Busy tonight due to being New Years Eve so took a little longer than usual but the same friendly service and fantastic food as always!
