Mr Choi's Chinese Takeaway

Genuinely exceptional, and I really mean that. I've just moved from Oakham where we had the choice of 5 chinese takeaways. I spent 5 years sampling them and deciding my favourite and this just blew them out of the water on the first go... beautiful vibrant colours matched only by the crisp taste. I find a lot of chinese takeout to be greasy and bland but definitely not this place. They clearly use good quality fresh produce and it really would stand up against any a la carte restaurant. Every single dish was great and the prices are as low as your average chinese takeaway. Ordered in advance for 7.30 and it came over the counter, piping hot, at 7.31. Cant praise it enough, I'm a customer for life 👍 great job guys.

(Just to clarify this is the first review I have ever done... it's that good!!)

As always Mr Chois comes up with nice tasty take aways at a good price , always very friendly, never a problem in over 23 years .
Just wish i could go there every day.

My one star is for their chips and their incredible decor inside their takeaway.

Ordered house special fried rice which tasted of nothing but garlic. The portion was really small, you get such a small amount of rice considering the price and compared to others!

Hated the taste of the sauce as well as the sweet n sour sauce - so synthetic!

Will not be using this chinese again unfortunately.

Tried this chinese for a change after seeing such positive reviews online and our favourite chinese was closed.

Was so disappointed.

The portions were really small compared to other local chinese takeaways. The sweet n sour sauce tasted like something from a nuclear power plant and the rest was so so bland.

We will be sticking to our chinese - King Hong on Occupation as it is most definitely the best chinese in Corby.

Don't believe the Mr Choi's hype!

Order from here all the time for delivery, tonight we went in for takeout as we were nearby, customer service by the man behind counter is terrible we overlooked that as everyone has off days but no,
Now we’re no food critics and quite easy going but WOW..Got the order home it’s wrong, uncooked ( chicken was pink slimy and smelled off),
The rest of the food was unimaginably greasy, tasted like it was last nights reheats, disgusting we called them to complain the same unmannered Asian gentleman or person I should say (this was so far from a gentleman) answered the call totally uninterested, then after hearing our complaint his response was “okay is there anything else I can help you with”… 🤬🤬🤬🤬…NEVER AGAIN…SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE AND DISSATISFACTION…DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE….1 star as it won’t let me give less

Nice food, been using it for many years,one of the best in corby

Just spent £33 on Mr Chois takeaway and I was really disappointed. The spare ribs had very little meat and the sauce was bland. The chips tasted like they had been reheated. Needless to say I will not be ordering from there anytime soon.

Just ordered from Mr Chris, beef chow mean, sweet ans sour chicken balls, chilli salt ribs, chilli salt chips and vegetable spring rolls oohh and of course prawn crackers, absolutely spot on nothing to complain about, best Chinese we have had in a long while.
