Sunrise

Changed to this place for Chinese delivery last year after being told they offer more gluten free options than other Chinese takeaways in the area. They've proved twice now that they cannot be trusted with what they can and cannot offer gluten free. Ordered a chicken satay main meal after being told it could be gluten free twice, on the third occasion then told it wasn't gluten free. I was then told they could offer salt and pepper spare ribs as a gluten free option, which I ordered a total of 3 times to then be told that it wasn't gluten free when I tried to order again. Just ordered gluten free chicken and pineapple as part of an order costing £30. Chicken was jelly like, vile and inedible, after a few bites I was actually worried it wasn't cooked through. It went in the bin. Chips were overcooked, daughters order of chicken balls were overcooked and rock hard, they would have went through the double glazing had I been brave enough to throw them. Luckily partners order was at least edible. Won't be back. So disappointed.

Tasty food tried a few times now, always on time or early. Lots of choice and consistently good quality I would highly recommended 👌

I thought I would like a Chinese last night, so got one from this place, Well for £10 it was horrible food absolutely awful it has put me off Chinese food for ever, The Beef and pepper in black bean sauce awful,far too much salt sauce was like jelly but on a good note the beef was tender when I found what little there was, the chips were half cooked and were sour the rice was OK ish.All in all give this place a big body swerve, YUK.

Food is always fantastic and also very reasonable. Service is always good, fast and very pleasant.
It is cash only but there is a free ATM nearby.

We have had plenty of melas from Sunrise and it’s always good, never had a bad one. They catered to my allergy well too and the salt and pepper chicken is delicious! Really quick delivery too and not too pricey.

I ordered salt and pepper chicken and I just got chicken with no flavour! Worst £20 spent on a Chinese ever, I'd give it 0 stars if possible!

Had our 1st take away from Sunrise Take Away after moving just outside the town.
Hands down it was the best curry myself and my husband have had for yrs!!
He is quite fussy re a beef curry and his response was fabulous and tasty!
The chicken fried rice was delicious with a sweet taste! We scoffed the lot!

We will definitely order again! 5* from us!!😁

Absolutely vile food. I have tried this place a few times and the food is consistently disgusting.Curry is bland, no heat and tastes nothing like curry and has such a sickly taste it is inedible and went straight in the bin. Will never bother with place again!
After 2 years decided to give it a go again, shouldn't have bothered, same old bland and vile curry went straight in the bin after one mouthful, it is truly vomit worth. My partner's portion of chips was tiny, wouldn't feed a toddler! The only decent Chinese around is Mr Chans.
