Golden Dragon

We read peoples reviews before buying food at the Golden Gate but the place has very mixed reviews. We decided to take a gamble and the gamble paid off. The food was delicious. Will definitely use them again when we stay in the area.

Some of the food a little 'crispy' all either rather brown or rather red.
Chilli beef was good. A bit of a juicy mess in the bag due to very 'well-filled' containers.
Still, did the job!

Really disappointed. Chose a variety of dishes..but they all looked & tasted the same! How much different can you get than a rich,spicy orange red kung po sauce and a smooth and peanutty yellow satay? Yet both these dishes had the same brown, salty peculiar tasting sauce. Even the egg fried rice and Singapore noodles were brown, stodgy and lacked flavour. Such a shame as the menu looked quite exciting but the reality was very bland and poor cuisine

Food OK, missing rice from order when I called up they wouldn't deliver or even offer an apology. Don't think I'll go again unfortunately 👎

Ordered over the phone.Had Chicken Balls with sauce.Was told they would be ready in about 10 minutes.When I arrived in 10 minutes and gave my name the Gentleman proceeded to rather a large bag in which food was being stored.The Chicken and sauce were Fabulous and really good size portions.However the batter was really soggy by the time I got home.The next time i 'll just go down and order at the premises.Would Certainly go there again.

My meal was lovely, except for the pancake rolls, neither myself or my partner could eat it, very oily and not nice, My partner meal she didn't like it it, I couldnt fault my duck with sliced mushrooms that was lovely. Hopefully put this down to an off night

Amazing Service during the festive period. Superb food and large portions. By looking at other reviews I am unsure how orders are messed up when the staff confirm all items twice once after I ordered and again when collecting from the shop. Overall satisfied with the value and service from here. Heavily recommend to others visiting Kidwelly.

Food was OK, but took a while for someone to come to the counter to serve me. I had ordered 15mins prior to arriving, when I got there I had waited in the shop for 10mins with no signs of anyone
