Golden Bamboo

Delicious Chinese food! As I wanted a bit of everything I ended up ordering too much food however the leftover was still nice after reheating the following day. They are always busy so better to order in advance - worth the wait though. The lady behind the counter is super friendly. Would definitely recommend...

I ordered 4 meals. In my 58 years on this earth, this was the worse food I have ever had. Bland, tastless 5 pieces of beef, bamboo cubes thrown in to bulk it up, 3 cashew nuts, need I go on. The food Did not match the description. I also imagine the hygiene to be a little close to the mark.
Spent close to £40, we were all very disappointed. I will never order again from this take away. If you are thinking of doing so, I would strongly recommend that you don't.

Quite expensive but everywhere Is these days.had duck curry duck was very fatty curry was really nice fried rice was a bit dry and no egg in it I got some prawn toast as well very disappointed it was just a thick round of toast hardly any seeds on and very little prawn taste over 4 pounds the chips were nice tasted like air frier cooked

Unreal the low quality of this meal - some how managing to achieve the status of simultaneously tasteless and tasting terrible. I've eaten out of many Chinese take outs in the past and this by a mile was the worst I've ever had. The chowmein was a gloopy tasteless slop ( exaggeration on the slop) and the salt and pepper box ( meant to contain chicken balls, ribs , spring roll ect ) was just a pile of over salted chips and 2 chicken balls and 2 "ribs" about 1.5 inch in length, equally over salted and bitter.

Seriously cannot state how bad the food here is. I'm assuming it's something to do with the new management??? Unsure, but honestly without exaggeration the worst food I've consumed in living memory. Avoid at all costs.

Always obliging, food excellent and the price is reasonable as well.
Sometimes I have a short sudden notice lunch/dinner break and they always try to get it ready straight away instead of my break running out before I have had chance to eat it.

Really good food. We had been using another takeaway in the town but due to that one being closed for whatever reason we tried the Golden Bamboo we found the food to be better, unlike the other place this one didn't make me feel stuffed the food was very tasty hot even after we had an hours drive to our destination we used to need to warm it up but not this time. Staff were friendly and polite, will definitely be going back for more. 👍
