Gold Lion Chinese Take-Away

Ordered a Takeaway last night... After reading some of these reviews was a bit put off... But glad I did, it was one of the best Chinese takeaways me and my partner have ever had, after a long day out walking couldn't fault it.

The person who left a negative review just by the look of the place and didn't even order anything, Please ignore they must have too much time on there hands... Very reasonable priced, friendly staff and very tasty food.

Very reasonable had a good meal for a good price, would agree with some maybe waiting area could do with sprucing up, but has good hygiene rating so no worries :)

Food was very good No complaints but they could do with freshening up the exterior and waiting areas bit scruffy giving a bad image

DREADFUL!! - The shop is filthy and the food is dreadful, I dare not guess what meat was in my food, but it was cold. The prawns were cold and the meat in it was the sliced meat you would buy from the supermarket. Avoid at all costs...

Wasn't sure about this place, 4 out of 5 local authority food inspection sticking in the window. The customer area is grim. Food was non descript in taste and flavour.

Fantastic food tonight, as always! The beef with green peppers in black bean sauce is a must try!
