Hotel Chocolat

This has been a great safe haven for us at lunchtime, we would have a choco shake , and the staff are extremely nice! would visit again and again! the products are very nicely laid out and easy to move around. its a shame there are not as many dark chocolate variants in the range

I went in to buy a nice classy chocolate gift and discovered it has a really nice coffee shop too. So I had a latte and thoroughly enjoyed not only the drink but the relaxed atmosphere and friendly service.

Someone needs to check on the staff making ice cream here today: they are not okay.
Queue was 5 deep for pitifully poorly made ice creams from a machine that were taking so long they were melting by the time they were handed over, and the poor girl was deciding to stop and clean the counter before serving the next customer.
Perhaps more training and more staff on a sunny day would be useful?

Love this shop. Always great service and excellent for a hot chocolate and cake when shopping. We'll worth a visit.

Terrible place to get a hot drink, was served ahead of about 5 people they all got their drinks first, even though my order was just as easy as theirs so no reason to not serve in order.
But once I questioned why my drinks hadn’t come out I simple got “your have to wait we are busy”, they wasn’t busy they had forgot.
Simply own up to mistakes that’s fine but lying nope simple one star I won’t be returning.

I take my toddler here as a treat and she loves it. They make her little hot chocolate just right and always so friendly and welcoming.

chocolate is delicious. But the team to work in this place must be selected very well. One girl cheated me out of £5. Be careful.

Staff are always friendly and helpful. We normally go in to sit and enjoy one of their amazing hot chocolates. It is a lovely place to sit. Have always felt welcome with my son. The staff were always supportive when I was breastfeeding and chat to my son now that he is older.
