Leonidas Manon Café

Manon Cafe does not offer the best coffee in the area. For that, I'd recommend going to one of the independent coffee carts nearby. What's great about Manon Cafe is the fact that you get a free piece of chocolate whenever you purchase a hot beverage. Not just any chocolate, but a Leonidas praline (a choice between dark, milk and sometimes, white, and wrapped so that you can consume it later). Perfect for those days when you're feeling rather skint and need both a pick-me-up and a treat for after.

The cafe is also nice and cozy, if you just need to get away from the craziness of the City.

Efficient service and good-sized coffee. The coffee itself was all right - nothing spectacular but no complaints either. The cup of coffee came with a piece of Leonidas chocolate as well, which was a nice touch.

Beautiful place, friendly staff. They use illy coffee which is sublime. I had a delicious coffee which they serve with a free Belgian chocolate, amazing!!!

Centrally located, independent coffee house with great selection of coffee and cakes. Stones throw from the bank of England and as always pretty close to a tube. Clean toilets. As with most central london locations, no parking. Friendly staff and free WiFi and my cappuccino was amazing.

Absolutely pathetic yesterday lunch time. I ordered a lemon tart. Ate about half of it expecting that the next bite will taste lemony. Nope it didn't.

Went to complain. Lady said to me "that's how it is and has always been, it's my favourite". When I didn't walk away saying oh ok then that's ok, she asked "what do you want me to do about it".

No offer of a change of dessert or better still a refund or the best solution.. to suggest to the kitchen to add lemon flavouring to a lemon tart!

A bit sparse and soulless but the staff are nice and it's good location for coffee meetings in the City.

Coffee is really bad here. The interior feels like a cheap 80s cafe. The free chocolates are really nice and save it from being a one star place, but honestly if you're looking for coffee there are much better places around.

Used to come here every day as fav hot choc. Then moved offices, fast forward a year and I walked out of my way to treat myself to a dark hot chocolate. It was awful, not like it used to be. Cadbury instant hot chocolate would taste better and that's vile... so disappointed.
