A beautiful church in the country surrounded by 12 yew trees and one enormous ancient yew believed to be over 2,000 years old.
There is an ample sized car park with some disabled spaces.
There is a pub nearby.
Great place for a churchyard wander and particularly for tree lovers like me!

Very atmospheric setting with obvious commitment to wilding the churchyard .

The church, which is dedicated to St. Mary, consists of three isles and a south chancel, called St. Katherine's. The steeple, which is a low pointed one, stands at the west end; there are six bells in it (Whitechapel Bell Foundry). The stained glass in the Chancel windows are memorials to the Birch Reynardson family. The glass in the chancel lancet is by Powell and Sons, 1863. The east window contains picture panels by famous church glass artist Thomas Willement of Davington English stained glass artist, called "the Father of Victorian Stained Glass", active from 1811 to 1865.
