Disgraceful - neighbours have dumped a huge mound of soil and trees on my drive (not shared) and Avon constabulary have said that because it degrades they can’t do anything. I asked them about the large bag of cement also - they couldn’t comment on that. So I can’t use my drive to put my own car on it but Avon constabulary maintain that no law has been broken so they can’t help. Exactly how long do they expect a large mound of soil and trees and cement to degrade before I can use my own property? Hey, instead of paying the council to come and take your rubbish away, why not just simply dump it on your neighbours drive because according to Avon Constabulary it’s not an offence. Why do I pay my council tax? How much longer do they believe people will keep paying for services they are not receiving? They were soon out in force though during the great con to hassle you as you tried to earn a living. Oh and your answering message that says no abuse will be tolerated - have you ever considered you might be getting abuse because you are neglecting your duties, failing to maintain law and order and generally a waste of public money?

Don't bother with them. I've had belongings stolen, the police knew who it was and where everything was, but didn't do anything. No one felt the need to contact me with updates, I had to contact them. 10 weeks later and they tell me they won't do anything. I now have to pay money to take it court as they won't help. Not worth the time or effort speaking to the police. When I called them again recently for an update, somehow my report and complaint has coincidentally disappeared and no one can find it. Funny that when there's reference numbers.

Also a family member of mine had a motorbike stolen. Before it was taken at night, the police were contacted about dodgy looking people looking at it during the day. The police took the bikes number plate, but didn't feel the need to contact the owner to inform them, who wasn't at the property, that people were acting suspicious. The next morning the bike has gone. They could have prevented it being stolen, but couldn't be bothered to contact the owner.

Twice I've had issues with the police who can't seem to take anything seriously or pick up a phone. Waste of time and effort. If I ever need them again, I won't bother.

Collar no. 9420 is straight away passive aggressive when talking to you. I only wanted to try and resolve issues and 9420 frequently talks over you.

9420 first said they couldn't send me a copy of an original letter, then when I asked her for her name she gave me a collar number and changed her mind saying she could send me a copy of original letter. Very misleading and I sense rather than helping people, wants to avoid any kind of work.

never needed help before like I needed last night when my dsughter was stranded in bristol with nowhere to stay after a 9 hour coachtrip to attend uni open day the next morning..hotel cancelled booking after she told them she was 17 and as my last resort had to call Avon and Somerset police after seeking help from the uni and other hotels..she was going to be walking the streets all night..police didn't care..told me to come get her..what on earth..im so sad that no-one cared about her.and through error with her school was put in that situation..we all need help and compassion at times and when we are miles away from helping our children need to know thetes kindness in the world..well don't bother with the police in bristol..theyre not interested

Absolutely unprofessional police service. Had belongings stolen, and then found, didn't bother to check the evidence, and filed the case without returning my belongings, despite knowing who has it and where, and how it was stolen. Ignoring emails and phone calls. A 12 year old would do a better investigation than their hopeless careless job.

A huge thank you to the female police officer who helped me to find my bearings and subsequent safe route home to Hampshire when I was completely lost around the Chew Magna area late last night (04/09/22). Given the subsequent thunderstorm and torrential rain the M4 was definitely the best route. Thanks again.

A few days a go a officer almost blew up my house by crashing in to a gas vale outside of my house dangerous driving is fine it seems if you're one of the boys in blue. Speeding on a juction and hitting a poor guy car as he was turning on a roundabout wasn't the guy going to work fault. Even if you're going to a call drive safe not like 80mph
