Visited this police station to report something only to be told it isn't used for public ...such a big place I feel waste of resources and money a very expensive parking lot for police cars and admin.

It's nice to see that the police have the resources to send two policemen out to see me over an allegation (which never happened) of someone being called a name. Nice to know that the money is being well spent.

Had the pleasure of a tour of Leicestershire Police Headquarters in September, a very interesting place. Everyone we met were fantastic, welcoming and eager to explain what their role consists of. Particular note goes to the Dog unit - an extraordinary place, recently re-developed to give the dogs a place to relax when not out on Patrol. Thanks, also, to the Roads Policing Unit for the small gift they gave me, and most importantly to D/Supt Ditcher for organising the whole event!
