Rickmansworth Police Station

The website and a sign by the entrance of this station states opening hours 09.30- 17.00.
On 18th October 2022 I needed to get a signature from a police officer.
The doors were locked. There is a yellow phone on the wall with three buttons for assistance; none of them worked.
Is this the service we get from a police service we pay for? Appalling !
