Bridgwater Police Centre - Avon and Somerset Police

I am autistic, I am classed as a valuable adult.
After helping a police officer by giving him my bottle of water who had some cs gas in his eyes. I was arrested and put into a cell, without someone even asking me if anything happened.
I was held without, good reason, without charge, for nearly 24 hours. Then when I was released did not even have an apology. Being held in a cell massively affected my PTSD OCD, depression and general state of mind. I haven't left my house since the event because I dont trust people, I have a fear that even if I go out it might happen again. I was treated unhumainly, not fit for even an animal. Even if you paid for therapy it will take years to heal from this. All I want to do is to kill myself because I cannot even sleep properly, in the fear that it might happen again and I cant let that happen. And because my doctors are useless I dont know what to do.

A massive dissapointment through and through.

Not long ago, my bike was stolen. I was quick to report it to the police and gave as much information as possible about the theft, the bikes serial number, where it was and when it was stolen, the make, the colour, details about the extras on the bike and the only thing the police seemed to offer me was telling me when they would drop the case. It has been several months now and I have less faith in the police than ever.

Corrupt bone idle bunch of clowns with excuses an 11 year old would know we're a joke. See the state of New intake of PC's and they couldn't organise a tea party.
Unless it's speeding revenue- don't expect any kind of service if you get burgled or knife threats

I have just watched an YouTube video which showed an very disrespectful police office who on camera showed how this station allows officers to interact with the public and there right to film. It was also noted in the video how the officer left a vehicle unattended and engine running which is an offence to any other people. But what made it worse is the auditor told another officer at the seen and did nothing. What has become of our police forces in the UK it appears that differant they have there own law and the public have another. Why.

Pc3914 Candy needs to loose the attitude and remove his shades when talking to the public. Looked ridiculous on YouTube today. Shoking.

We call 101 but are told to report online. We try to report online and are told to call 101 or 999. I call 101 and wait on hold for an hour so give up. It's hard to help the police because they have no time to pick up the phone. I'm sure this is a funding issue. It's so disappointing that the police on the street are underfunded in this way.

On Sunday the 13/006/2021 There was an incident, I was dealt with extremely well by everyone concerned! Vicky and a fantastic person who was on at night! I don’t know his name, he was not a policemen. He was so polite and personable and gave me some magazines to read! Everyone that dealt with me were professional and very polite!! Then on top of that the desk sergeant gave me a lift home which was out of her way despite what she said, she was lovely and polite! I believe her name was Louise, but as I’ve a terrible memory for names!! Thank you all so much!! Especially to Vicky, Louise and the chap that gave me the magazines!!!

Had a car stolen 5 minutes from the station could not be bothered to send a officer to look at cctv, lady officer said she might be able to make it after she finished her coffee and 5 jam do nut on her desk. No wander insurance premiums and crime are on the up.
