Matalan

Very clean and tidy, good selection of clothes sizes, prices good. Till staff good until a problem with till then panic stations. My daughter had to go to another till even though she had put card and number though!. We were not very happy with that, so now she is watching her bank account.

More checkout staff needed as spend most of your time in the queue. It's hit & miss to whether it's any good clothing wise as it depends upon the season's choice each time. Normally it's pretty good hence 4 stars so come on matalan you know you can do better

Use this store a lot. Good variety. Helpful with click and collect. This week my toddler ran off from me, and I could find her. All staff helped and blocked the doors to ensure she couldn’t leave. Was within a few minutes, and am very grateful!

If you was disabled you would have trouble getting around some of the place

A well laid out "value" clothing and home store with friendly staff. Some interesting "black Friday" offers.

Plenty of parking spaces

This store is actually offering more than thinking but not too much of it. There is even a genius idea: that was us managing to get self checkout exactly in the ordinary checkout area so you would not really need patience if a cashier ain't ready in time.

Always had good experiences here but now only one till is staffed. 5 are automated card only.
I waited for 10 minutes as 2 staff chatted behind the counter. The queue was only 2 people long including myself.

I think the store needs to put more into serving customers who have cash or need to make exchanges rather than treating them as second class.
