Be careful when purchasing from Hazell F Smith as they will only refund you with a credit note when returning non-faulty items.

I bought what I thought was a silk bow tie and cummerbund, only to find out on returning home that both were polyester. I had hoped for quality products for the price they charged. The lack of understanding with their returns policy, after just one day, means that I won't be going back to shop there again.

I love this shop! It's the only place in Leamington where you can buy a decent hat. The owner is a trained tailor and sources his stock from some great independent manufacturers that you have probably never heard of. The ambiance and service is very traditional; sadly places like this are now a rarity on UK high streets.

Preemptively, I would like to clarify that this review will be impertinent if you are merely concerned about the quality of the products (although the quality itself is dubious). However, If you desire professional service then I would strongly advise against visiting this establishment.

I visited recently with the intent on trying on a suit jacket/blazer, merely so that I had a good concept on what I wanted to purchase in the future.
The owner was a perfect embodiment of appalling business conduct and how not to treat potential customers; cold, supercilious, obstinate and a remarkably irascible disposition - the owner even swore at me when I informed him that I was merely trying one of the jackets on with no intent to immediately purchase anything.
Do not anticipate this retailer to provide any services for you unless for imminent purchase, as there will be little to no cooperation. I would have potentially revisited the shop to purchase one of his blazers had he not treated me so abysmally.

Due to the obstinacy and lack of professional cooperation, I would not recommend this independent retailer, as there are numerous other menswear shops and tailors in Leamington Spa and Warwick with far superior service to this.

Superb and friendly service. Always have what I want and the staff know their stock. Not cheap but well made quality products.

I would like to echo Alpha Rays review. The quality of men's wear is varied and excellent but my experience has been of supercilious and offhand service, quite unlike the norm in Leamington. I have purchased goods there on several occasions but the attitude is often a couldnt care less whether you buy or not.

Went in the shop today to purchase a shirt and was talked down to by a member of staff , I buy a lot of clothes and spend a considerable amount on quality garments and no other tailors I use treat good customers in this way . They were also charging far more than other retailers for the same Viyella shirts!! Things need to improve!!

The best outfitter I know outside of London. Everything is quality and British made where possible. They offer a bespoke service made by a local tailor.

Excellent service. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Quick bespoke service. Very pleased with everything I have bought there. I'm becoming a regular customer!
