Actually visited Dorothy Perkins not Burton's (although the both come under Burton's). Always go during their sale. Found 3 pairs of floral trousers which are Coming in handy for work during the summer. Absolutely love them!

So today I decide to buy shoes, I'm in the store and get help from an asian lady, seemed nice at first until I told her I am from a gypsy background. At checkout she decided to ask me a very inappropriate and offensive question. She asked whether all gypsies lived in caravans. I live in a house and I work, I have finished uni and now have a family. If you do not know any morals then you should not open your mouth to any customers. Very ignorant and disrespectful behaviour.

Went to return a jumper i had barely worn, one of the employees was very rude and kept insisting she wouldn’t accept it because it smelt like perfume...kept questioning me “er duh would you buy used clothes?” as if 1) people don’t try clothes on all the time IN THE STORE and 2) as if thrift stores don’t exist. Only saving grace was the young man who privately said that the woman “is just like that”
And here’s the kicker, went to Burton’s in stratford, they accepted my refund no issues. even after it had been in my gym bag all day lol

I have tried calling the store to ask a question. The girls on the phone were laughing, giggling and not listening to me. They said hold on while we transfer you to someone and hanged up.

We can see how Covid has effected stock levels, hope people take courage and go out but make sure safety takes priority. Go out and enjoy.
